@aljanat5 It was actually a two man job, Matt Greiner (drummer) and Brent Rambler (rhythm guitar) wrote all the lyrics. This song was written by Matt. They are amazing lyricists!
@aljanat5 Wait what are you talking about now? From your first comment it sounded like you were praising the "lone man" who wrote the lyrics to this album, I just corrected the part about a "lone man" writing the lyrics since there was two of them. Now you're talking about something YOU wrote, and I'm living a lie? Are you high?
@aljanat5 Ok nevermind just took a quick look at your profile. You claim to have written 33 albums recently (Including Bob Dylan's latest lmfao), and you're also claiming that you wrote the story to Doom and a bunch of anime. Either a troll or a compulsive liar.
@@absolutedeath_666 Been listening since 2008 so I'm not new haha. And I see what you're saying as they have had clean vocal elements, but they've generally been more as background gang vocals or chants like in Empire, Salt & Light, Echoes, or Float. This is the first time it's been an actual "chorus" imo.
You boys may have out done yourselves. Gonna give this a front to back listen but wow. The Narrative is an absolute banger of an opener. Now this track is amazing. Even digging that singing part.
Mouth dropped open when the vocals hit. You guys have figured out how to put the creativity just enough each album while staying true to your sound. Band of the decade for sure.
Lyrics: Take another look around. There’s so much lost to be found. People everywhere are hurting. Even though they're counted out, there’s so much lost to be found. Passion in action is compassion. Love is greater than what it’s made of. It will cost you. Someone has to pay. Give nothing and you’ll waste your wealth away. Someone has to pay. Bloodied and battered, dying in ditch. Help nowhere to be found. Take another look around. There’s so much lost to be found. People everywhere are hurting. Even though they're counted out, there’s so much lost to be found. Their prayers to a god are spoken in vain. His home is with the broken. He is the answer to their pain. A faith so fragile they’re told to never leave. Scared they’ll be seen for what they are, not what they’ve achieved. A monster’s legacy ends the day he dies. A man never forgotten is the one who’s crucified. The treasure is in the tatters, not just another cog in the wheel. Help those in need and you’ll have said more than your words will ever say. Divine design will light the way. Rise up. Reach out. Have pity. Let the outcast in. Rise up. Reach out. A strangers face in a foreign place. Rise up. Reach out. Shutting out the poor won’t lead to a cure. Who will rise up and reach out? Take another look around. There’s so much lost to be found. People everywhere are hurting. Even though they’re counted out there’s so much lost to be found Hope everyone continues to stay safe and listen to great music. Thanks to all the nurses selflessly risking their lives to protect us. You are heroes. - Riana & Reece
So great! First i listen only to the Music witout understanding the Lyrics. I feel the Spirit of love and the thoughts of the band. Than i read the lyrics and feel so much love. Wonderful song!!!!!
This is my favorite song of the album, the message of the lyrics is great, with simple words but with the reality of nowdays, the clear voice of the chorus give a other feeling and that is amazing
wow. what a great song. such meaningful message. really digging this album ALOT. ABR!!!!! needed motivation like this . thanks for the continual hard work brothers. drums sound awesome by the way.
I've always respected ABR as a great metalcore band, even though I could never get into them before because their songs did not have strong choruses (or choruses at all) and I like choruses A LOT in metalcore songs.. but this whole new album... holy shit! It's in a whole new level!
I have no clue why, but the riff coming that kicks in when Jake begins yelling "Passion in action..." Hits so hard after you really try to focus on what it does for the pacing. Gods, what an incredible riff.
Jason LovesABR gotta admit sir,I am SHOCKED you’re here. Jk haha. This is one of my favorites on the album. Defender and The Narrative are amazing too. They really surprised me with this album it’s fantastic.
@@corbinm5237 Yeah, it's late so I can't say anything about anything yet. Rather listen more closely when I'm actually awake tomorrow. Already 3am here.
@@corbinm5237 Yeah, it's tough man. I want to just listen since they're my favorites but I want to be able to take it all in at a good time. I could easily listen to the new All Time Low album now and it would be fine but I save the best for last in most cases.
It bugs me I didn't get to seem them live because of coronavirus. But health comes first of course. Tomorrow is another day. Stay safe everyone. This song rocks
August burns red has always been my all time favorite band. This band has never released a bad album, but this song is the first no for me. The “clean” vocals remind me of today’s all that remains...and I personally have not liked all that remains since fall of ideals (which is an incredible album) This is just my take on it. But the rest of the album is awesome! I always look forward to every new album! This album gives me a lot of leveler vibes!
Jesus Christ says, "apart from Me, you can do NOTHING" surrender to Him in humility, put on His yoke, drink from His fountain, repent of your sins that you may live ❤️
