ABR are without doubt one of the very few bands that excel in a medium that has been taken over by hacks. I'm not a Christian, but I hear what they have to say on a philosophical level. Awesome stuff!

13 years flew by. ABR was by far a big part of my development with my conflicted self. I used to get such a rush from hearing these songs; they're still so very powerful with wonderful execution. Its funny to look back; I am doing much better now!
"This is my time...! To be...! With! My!! LORD!!!" The ending of this song, and the ending to this album... a perfect example of ABR's Christianity in their lyrics.
The entire song. "Crusades" aka "Holy War" and he talks about not giving up. It's likely he's talking about falling into temptation and the like. In reality I think all of their lyrics are Christian but not outright, you have to look for it.
This was the first ABR song I've ever listened to and it made me instantly fall in love with them. I can't even describe how excited I am that soon after all this years, I'm finally gonna see them play it live on the 10 Years of Constellations tour. I have no idea why they never played this song at their shows before.

Listening to this song after 7 years!! The last time I listened to this song I heard the riffs an insane drumming, now, 7 years later, I hear my own voice in the lyrics. Just the other day, i was sitting in the car with my brother-in-law listening to a Christian christmas album, and ABR's cover of Carrol of the bells came on. I liked this band since then, and all i heard were the instruments! This is a great band! One of my favorites along with Demon Hunter, The Showdown and Project 86. I love that there are more Christian bands that are Metal like this. They sound wonderful, and they get the Message out. God bless them and their families. God bless their work.

this morning i was playin this song in my head, and having tears of joy saying its so beautiful. i was checked into the hospital for alchohol poisoning and i feel that this song is what kept me conscious throughout the hole thing. i wanted to pass out but when, i would play in my head the im tired and i swear to you part, id feel like i need to stay awake for just a little bit longer.. i love you so much august burns red, thank you. your lyrics and words are so inspiring.

I love that ABR is so clear about the fact that they are a christian band and that their goal isnt just to entertain but the spread His word... it really makes me want to get back into my religion...

ABR makes me think of Michael and Gabriel and all the archangels crushing all evil. Thumbs up if you have the will and strength of a Lion, and the heart of a lamb.
@TheNegativeimpact they definitly deserve A LOT more but not more then any artist... theres some really good bands that deserve more. ABR deserves a lot... if they win a grammy award or something, my life'll be complete
