Aunt Raising Nephew || The Sims 4 Apartment Renovation: Speed Build

For the family: the aunt never had any kids because she was a school teacher and a cat as her “kids” but when the nephews mom started neglecting her child and having problems the aunt stepped in and had the nephew live with her Thanks you so much for the likes I have never had more then 5 so thank you!

I hope we have more Family Relationships we can set in the Sims 4. I can't make myself the cool Aunt in the game without making my parent's siblings, my cousins, and their children. The interior is giving me Florida beach house vibes, I'm sure I've seen an interior picture that looks like this before. It's so cute! So cool to see this family dynamic! My uncle died, so my mom got guardianship of my cousin who was only 9 at the time, I was 11. She raised us as a single mom ❤️

Honestly I don’t get why everyone comments on the reshade so much. It barely changes the colors, if anything makes it easier to pair items together, and the shadows are hardly that bad. I think if you give some people the opportunity to complain they’ll take that and run with it lol..especially in the sims community. Anyways great build simlicy! They get better and better each video

What if the mom wasn’t a deadbeat or an addict who was forced to give up care, but someone struggling with their health. Maybe she experienced a coma/ traumatic brain injury, and she is in rehabilitation but isn’t capable of caring for herself, let alone anyone else, for the foreseeable future, and maybe not ever due to the extent of damage, so reluctantly made the best decision for her child and signed over parental responsibility to the child’s aunt. Possibly the same accident that injured the mother also tragically took the father from them. Maybe the aunt is the younger sibling of the father. (Meaning her nephew’s parent’s had him later in life) The aunt is middle aged teacher and hadn’t yet found a partner to start a family with, and had begun to think it wasn’t going to happen and started looking into other methods of having a family when tragedy struck her older brother’s family and she stepped in to raise her nephew.

The story I was thinking of for this family: the aunt is a veteran, and she got divorced a few years ago she used to be very rich. And the mom of the nephew had drinking problems, the same with all her family and most died, and the father ran away. So the aunt stepped in and suggested he should move in with her because she never had any children and just adopted a stray kitten 🐱 and needed help to take care of her apartment. -sorry if the spelling or something is wrong, english isn’t my first language

Doing storylines for these SimLicy builds part ✨4✨💗💕💗 Tina- aged 47. Tina had a husband and twin daughters living with her. Her husband died 18 years ago, leaving her with 1 year old twins to raise. She loved them dearly, and they are now 19 and in college. Tina also had a brother, Scott. Scott and his wife had a son, and Scotts wife passed after giving birth. Scott raised his son for 2 years, then passed in a car accident. When he was 2 and a half, Tina took in...... Ryder- Ryder was that son. Aged 9. Ryder loves space and wants to be an astronaut when he grows up, and is constantly jumping off furniture, making his Aunt Tina a bit frustrated😂 he enjoys playing with friends, and seeing his twin cousins when they come to visit. Although when his aunt subs in his class every now and then, he is proud to say he lives with her. Coral- Coral is the spoiled cat, and always gets what she wants😂

Awww! My aunt raised me for a while while my mom couldn't, and this totally reminds me of her! She had a dog, we're both hispanic, and I was super into science as a kid. Also, her favorite color is orange and my favorite color is light blue! This is so us except I'm a girl :)

Maybe a couple who fosters older children until they move out? I think that'd be a nice idea and it'd raise awareness for older kids who have the worry of aging out of the foster system without anyone to depend on.

I love the colorful builds you’ve been doing lately! Also, I have a theory about why you’re maybe struggling with floor plans for these apartments and that’s because the ones from CL all face different directions and therefore have different entrance locations allowing you to get real creative with floor plans, but these apartments all have an entrance on the same side and that makes it more challenging and limiting! It’s just a theory & hopefully it made sense but I’ve been loving your renovations for these apartments ☺️ I hope you’re doing well and enjoying your pregnancy!!

I always get so inspired and just want to go straight into build-mode after watching your videos! But gosh.. I really miss your old reshade.
