Ok, now here's what touches my heart. Auntie Fee isn't even going to eat this food but share it with others. She said she has other plans on Thanksgiving. She's doing all of this ahead of time for those that need someone to show them her way of doing things. She's trying to keep it simple and affordable for beginning cooks who may not have a lot of money or time. It was smart of her to advise all of us to make the wet seasoning well ahead of time and freeze. Also, not everyone has a dishwasher and being smart about minimizing clean up is a good tip. This woman is a treasure!
I disagree with the "affordable" part. It makes no sense to buy that expensive gravy in a jar and use a tiny bit of it. Besides, that gravy isn't good anyway.
Well now, we personally make homemade gravy ourselves and never purchase it from a jar. We make broth, stock, have chickens, ducks, goats and grow our own veggies, apples, herbs, etc. but this isn't what Auntie Fee is trying to share, is it? She's trying to reach someone who maybe doesn't know anything about cooking and would be too intimidated to take on a full project. Auntie Fee isn't Martha Stewart, nor does she pretend to be. She's just being real, trying to love people where they are at and help them. So, if someone has the choice of purchasing some prepared gravy, doing things Auntie's way or eating frozen meals, see what I mean? People grow and change in steps. Auntie knows this and is there for the people.
queenie_the_virgo same, my grandma was 100% ol’ school Italian. She’d be in kitchen cursin cookin’ talkin to her self and us whether we were in the same room or not lmao , rip Lucy, no one will ever replace you ❤️
I don't understand how people complaining on how SHE cooks HER own food. I don't get it. Stop watching if you gone complain. And the comments about "In The South we don't use meat in our dressing" chile what part of the south you from. We use seafood in dressing and different meats in dressing. Shut up and enjoy Auntie Fee! That's why you watching
I'm from the south and I don't use seafood in my dressing.People here make dressing different ways, but never heard of anyone putting seafood in dressing!!
I'm just here to watch and reminisce about auntie fee and I know heaven is having the best Thanksgiving possible with you up there cooking..you are missed😘🙌🏽💯🙏🏽🏁💕
Auntie Fee looks Tired, Tavis didn't even give her a hard time, I pray all is well. Never heard of ground beef in dressing, but to each his own. I boil the turkey necks and gizzards and mince it very fine and Ground Sage and the "Trinity" the way my Dad made it.but like she say "Try it her way first" then you use what you like. Just because I never heard of it, don't mean it's not good !
Lataundra I agree Auntie Fee looks Tired and Tavis sounded tired. I'll have to try this recipe when I need a "go with" baked chicken or pork chops but I've got to do the Cornbread Dressing for Thanksgiving.
I think she mentioned staying up yo get all the videos out before Thanksgiving...I agree with you about the gizzards! My mom makes it like that but I have had sausage in dressing so who knows the beef might be good :)
I quote Auntie Fee all the time to encourage young cooks who worry about what people think about their ingredients. I tell them, Auntie Fee Said, "It's yo s***. Cook yo $#!+ the way you wanna cook yo $#!+!" Blessed me as equally as my grandmother tellin' me, "don't ever mess up your credit." I make other cooks laugh, they all in my kitchen tryna give me pointers, I look up to heaven and ask, "Auntie Fee, Why they all up in here tryna tell ME how to cook MY $#!+?" Then I tell em what Auntie Fee Said. I'll Never forget Auntie Fee!!! Kee Resting Love! We miss you down here!
Tavis sending positive vibes your way. I know you miss your mother. Such a blessing to have her as long as you did. I lost my mother when I was 11 and my father when I was 12. You are so blessed to have all of these videos that you can go back and watch. Love.
My daughter has did all of our holiday cooking for 8yrs. Now I have to start back because she moved. Auntie Fee will always be my go too. Rest easy sis. And thank you. ❤
I feel some people are missing the point here. She said u can use ground beef, sausage, turkey, etc. it's about what you have and can afford. Using beef not going make it taste any less good if it's seasoned right. The whole point of her cooking is using what u can afford. I was taught if all you have is spaghetti noodles and ketchup u can make some good ass spaghetti. You just have to use the knowledge of how you make things and be creative with what you have. Anyways that my opinion and nobody gotta agree with it. I enjoyed this video as always. Hope u and your family have a happy thanksgiving auntee. Don't let negative people get u down. U have a purpose and a reason for making your videos. They really do help people wether it's cooking or to bring up spirits through laughter.
Exactly I love her cause she shows you how to cook especially if you never made it before. This is just a simple way to make it, which she stated. It still look good lol
I’ve been binge watching this hilarious lady all day!! She’s giving me joy on this Thanksgiving and putting me in the spirit!! RIP Aunt Fee❤️. I put cooked smoked Turkey meat and stovetop in my dressing. Along with homemade cornbread and sautéed veggies. To each their own! I’ve seen dressing made in so many different ways💕
Ooowee my aunty Fee is tired! I can tell she working hard for yall and she worried about what yall say and think. Yall be nice to my aunt Fee! Great job and Happy Thanksgiving aunty
Auntie Fee I'm from South Louisiana, so you know we pride ourselves on our cooking, I have been cooking longer than I have been driving and I'm in the 40+ club but for the first time you showed me a way to use that old dry azz stovetop dressing now of course we like seafood here so I'm gonna try some shrimp in there and see how it comes out but Thank you from the bottom of my heart thank you,,, more than anything I swear I wish I had a opportunity to meet you but long as you keep making videos, I'll keep watching, God bless you Tei Fee, (lol that's what we call our aunts here) you deserve it ALL,,,, HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Miss her. Loved Fee. January 26, 2020 #RIPAuntieFee 🙏🏼 You were one of a kind who brought a lot of joy to this fucked up world. Rest easy now knowing you’ll always be remembered & loved for the unique hilarious woman you were. Thanks for the light and joy.
Ohhhhhh I LOVED AUNTIE FEE!!💕💕💕💕💖💖💖💞💞💞 AND MY HEART IS BROKEN💔 that she's gone. 😔😣☹ Honey even her pots and pans cried! Cooking will NEVER be the same without her loving hands. She was one sweet lady. God bless her soul and keep her safe and loved in her heavenly seat. RIP AUNTIE. WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH. RIP.
keep teaching, the way you cook is from the heart. That's probably why your food tastes so good.. you can go out and eat but you know there is something missing from the food. But food cooked like this. She puts her foot all in it an it taste good. Keep on teaching.
Love your cooking style and your attitude. I learned to cook from my grandma and mom and they both cook like you do...food tastes so much better than anything you can find at a restaurant! Much love!
I use Italian sausage (out of skin and ground ), turkey wings and walnuts. Have been using it for years, but jimmy dean sounds good too. But I will say my recipe in no way resembles Auntie Fee's so dont go messing up a good thing with my 2 cents.
Tavis...I know you are missing your Mom...You're in my thoughts and prayers sweetheart...Merry Christmas and happy New year to you and the family...much love to y'all
Makes me sad she looks so tired and rundown. Love you Auntie Fee, you remind me so much of my grandma who I just lost in August this year, I appreciate all of the time and effort you put into making these videos even after all the haters.
Olynicole1234 the reason theres hate is because of ignorance.if you hate people its because you are stupid. We are all here on this. earth togather and we think we are better than the other man.if you were better you wouldnt. Be here on this earth. We are going to surprised when we vacate this earth.
Missing Auntie Fee, l'm so thankful that her family has these videos forever. These videos of her will pass to generations and generations to come. May she continue to Rest in Paradise. We all love you Auntie Fee!
I agree hallbe. They aren't seasoned. That pot WAS nonstick, but now it's all scratched up. You can't season nonstick. She just needed a new one. I'm sure she got some before she died.
Aunty few "get back off me a little bit shit!" Lmao! She cracks me up, I've already seen this video before but I can see her shit over nd over Agin nd still lmao! Bless her heart.
most folks from the south know about dat real cornbread dressing. and its not uncommon to have it with ground sausage. Honestly, Auntie Fee yours looks better than some of the dry ass dressing I've seen on food Network this week. Lol
Auntie Fee I always put ground beef in my stuffing but I also add ground sausage, minced bell pepper and green apple, frozen peas and carrots and raisins. So good!!! Since you share your recipes I'm sharing mine with you!!! You and Tavis make me smile with your videos!!! Thank you and have a great thanksgiving!!!
Whenever I'm having a week that I'm struggling to make some money I check out aunties videos and get some amazing ideas on how to cook on a budget and work with that you have in the house. Always keeping it real that's her legacy..
Interesting take on dressing, Fee. Yours is made of mostly bread crumbs. I have always made mine from homemade cornbread, with some Italian breadcrumbs added. Also, I see you didn't add any sage, which is usually a key ingredient in dressing. I've NEVER used water either, because chicken and/or vegetable broth is flavorful! I'm going to try out your recipe, though.
Im soo making this. Love you Auntie Fee. It really makes me appreciative of you and your compassion for others. Your not even eating this food. Your giving it away and making it so people like me who need to learn can. Truly a selfless kind caring compassionate woman. Much love.
@@armand-bk2vb Lord it's always one, that gotta come into the dang on comments with some ole disrespectful ass comeback. Get your ass on somewhere. Auntie Fee is in heaven. You better hope you get there.
@@snowblo1 amen! There is always one dumbass in the whole dang bunch. Lord have mercy. If someone with as big a heart as Auntie Fee didn't get to heaven...then the rest of us sure ain't got a chance. I know that much. Auntie Fee is cooking for the Lord as we speak. No doubt about that.
I wish she knew that there are folks on public forums who are simply jerks and she shouldn't let that crap bother her. I hate that she looks tired and stressed and upset by jerk people who are just jealous.
Auntie Fee is great! All her recipes are like starter recipes. You can add, change or take out whatever it is you want so it tastes good to you. I'm from the south && we love our cornbread dressing with sausage. But not everyone eats cornbread and/or pork. So I like the meat alternatives she gives.
i just noticed your oven , its just like mine . your dressing or stuffing looks so awesome auntie fee. i never put eggs in mine before ....BUT NOW I WILL . i can't wait for the next holiday so i can try out your stuffing and your potato salad recipe . ty so much for showing us all the way you do ur recipes . your meatloaf looks yummy also . we love you auntie fee !!!!
In the south we make Cornbread dressing :) but I am a vegetarian so I use Vegetable broth and of course I leave out meat! I have never had this kind before other than the stuff that comes in the box...
Girl I buy my stuffing in a bag at wholefoods, add a broth made of veggie bouillon and water, also from wholefoods. Add chopped, sauteed celery and onion...the rest is optional. Substitute some whipped flaxseed water for the eggs (whip up flax seeds in water and strain, it gives the water a very egg-like consistency)
