When I’m feeling down or just need to feel at peace. I still pull up her videos. Quite often. Miss you Fee😘. I know she’s cooking and cutting up in heaven 🤗.

Dag, I love her, and I don't even know her... My eyes are watering, and I'm smiling at the same time. Still getting us through 2021, Auntie Fee... Tavis (and family), she is so loved by her YT Family. Thanks for continuing to share her, and keeping her memory alive! Her spirit and loves lives on!!!
I agree, for all we know after the "hype" Walmart could have switched Patti's pies with Entenmanns sweet potatoes pies. I'd rather her pies be on low radar so I can judge her pies without the hype and see if they were that good.
Phee phee Too much sugar and salt.. they are silent killers! That’s why her passing was so soon.. she added a whole BIG cup of sugar! I think she would’ve even added more sugar if she wasn’t in camera. That’s sad..
I have NEVER cooked using portions, I allays do like Fee and taste, adjust base on each ingredients properties to hold, fluff, or sweeten, etc. Always felt guilty about that until Fee told me it's ok to do.
The reason to measure is is to keep a record so you can pass down recipes to family. You also need them to write cookbooks. I find that people of color do not write enough books to keep our history alive. The generations that coming after need to know their history. And it need to be told by us.
R Kraus Auntie Fee forgot brown sugar too. a little nutmeg, gives it that distinctive taste (just a little 😊). I don’t use a blender, like the consistency to be thick.
We passed it down by action. My mother and grandmother taught me in the kitchen, so now it's my turn to teach her. However, I do agree on writing more down.
I agree with you. I regret not keeping my grandmother recipes. I was so angry that she left me when she passed away that I couldn't look or see anything associated with her or I would have a mental breakdown. It was nine years later when I finally had a mental breakdown and had to stay in the hospital that I was finally able to heal. She was my best friend in the world. She tried to hold on as long as she could and I told her she could let go and she squeezed my hand to let me know she heard me. She waited until I left the hospital and she passed away. I was so broken for years but thanks to the hospital stay I was able to cope. She cooked everything from scratch and her food was amazing.
i am sure in Patty Labelles own kitchen her pie is fabulous, but what your viewer in the video had, was not made in Patty's kitchen, but manufactured in a company. There is always a difference, the love is missing. They depend on formula and recipes rather than taste testing by the chef like you did. I think that man on the video, is very lucky to find that you care enough to mail him a pie. Your a wonderful lady, and don't sweat challenging Patty labelles pie company, every one knows home made is better.
If she would have baked the sweet potatoes instead of boiling them, she wouldn't have had to use so much sugar. The natural sugars of the sweet potatoes would have remained instead of being leeched into the water. Bake them in the skin then peel and mash. The best way.
Davon Redmond yeah it does. My grandmother would do the tedious task of getting the strings out then add the carnation milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla and get ta blending and pour in homemade crust and bake that sucka, voila! Damn, I miss my grandma 😢😢😢
I love how her videos don't feel like cooking videos. She's such a natural on camera that it really feels like I'm right there in her kitchen with her camera dude just watching her make it because she isn't self conscious about herself. Love it!
Ya'll tripping, Patti is known for her cooking. We all have preferences, that doesn't mean her pies aren't good. They must be good to some people, because they're selling!! I like them heated not out of the box, but I've had better.
Even in her absence Auntie Fee taught me how to cook my sweet potato pies, its not necessary to pre-cook the crust as I've learned from family recipes.
Came across this video 2 days after Thanksgiving 2019... I'm smiling with tears in my eyes. Auntie Fee lives on through her epic videos.. however, truly missed! 😢❤🦋❤ #ContinueRestingInParadiseAuntieFee
My first time experiencing a video from auntie fee and I must say her modesty and honesty is the Best!!! She gave it up to Patti being a legend but hey a great cook is a great cook! Gooo auntie❤❤❤
Anybody else watching this beloved auntie in 2022? I just stumbled across her and I am Hooked. May she continue to Rest In Peace. Thank you for these hilarious videos 🤪🤪🎈🎈
I know that house is not the same without her. When the active head of the house passes away, and you're use to seeing them in the kitchen, and hearing them around the house, it takes life out of the house, and its never the same again.
Every year I call my mom first to make sure I'm not forgetting anything for my pie and then put Auntie Fee on to watch her do her thang while I do mine. She will forever be remembered and missed. So glad she shared her cooking joy with us all. R.I.P Auntie Fee

I just started watching her videos and then I came upon her funeral video. My heart dropped to the floor. I just couldn’t believe it. I just want to say I love seeing her videos and I kind of do the same when I am in my kitchen cooking. Thank you my beautiful Auntie Fee, for the delicious recipes and delightful conversations 😉.
