My youngest daughter's name is Aurianna. We call her Auri for short. Searching her name on a whim is what brought me upon this band, and I am very glad it did!

Please, don't read that book without reading The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fest. Auri is a lovely character and The Slow Regards of Silent Things is only about her, but you'll hate the book if you don't read the there books first. It's not the kind of book you expect

It was a Tuomas Holopainen composition ("Edema Ruh") that introduced me to Patrick Rothfuss. I'll always be grateful for that!

Pat Rothfuss is my favourite author! I knew as soon as I saw the band name that this was who you'd named yourselves after. I'm absolutely loving everything I've heard so far. Can't wait for the album! We are the Edemah Ruh!

We got in Latvia also folk group called Auri . And we got williage called Auri too... I like Auri from Finland too, just like latvian Auri.

why does it seem like women that work with tuomas dye their hair darker lol. johanna had red hair before auri, anette had blonde hair before nightwish (although she did change her hair now and then) and even floor's hair seem darker now (not sure if its a natural gradual change) she used to be on the reddish auburn side if i remember correctly? i know music is all that matters but it would be messed up if they're told to dye their hair lol

What is this? Is Nightwish done? or is it a side project?

jirimar Auri is just an independent project of Tuomas, his wife Johanna, and Troy. Nightwish is far from done; they just released a compilation album of their most "essential" songs throughout the Decades and they've started touring again. After the tour they're going to begin working on a new album full time and we can hope to see that done in 2020. Tuomas already has I think six songs for the new Nightwish album laid out.

It is a side project, but apparently Tuomas said that it also refreshed his inspiration for Nightwish.

Don't know where you are, but NW are on the road for about 9 months this year, in the US now through April. If you can, catch the show, it's awesome. NW will be doing Wacken this year, so hopefully we'll get another DVD out of that...it would be criminal not to.

In Philly. Saw NW with Annette on the DPP tour, didn't get to see the Imaginarium tour though. Will def look for them to swing by here again!!
