Aurora Borealis Northern Lights near Houghton Michigan Portage Lake Upper Peninsula night of September 3 and 4, 2022. Notice the first substorm followed by a quiet time and then another substorm errupts. The time lapse image sequence was from about 10 pm to 3 am.
