Watching Aurora interviews and live streams and podcasts.....is literally my therapy. Not even joking. I can't afford actual therapy. But I think it's pretty obvious.....the way to have a happy meaningful productive life? Be like Aurora. That's literally it. She's somehow figured it out. And her equanimity as a human....is both inspiring and comforting. The challenge (for me) is to not merely rely on her for comfort....but to also stand tall and go into battle, so to speak. But sometimes life can be just draining...and her entire vibe is like medicine in those moments.
ikr? I just got home from work. It was a _very_ busy crazy stressful day. The last of several in a row. And tomorrow is my day off. So I got home.....literally flopped onto my bed, dimmed the lights, turned on my blue light bulb, lit a candle and some incense....and came across this video. I just found my nap soundtrack for the evening. She's ridiculously calming. Everything she says is very interesting.......if you pay attention. But, if you don't necessarily pay attention, it's also a wonderful sound bed to drift off to....... :D :) :0 -__- zzzzzzzz
@@trn9668 Another great Aurora-centric sleep aid lol.....is the conversation between her and Sondre Lerche that was recorded. It's on RU-vid. It's about 45 minutes long....and is just the two of them, who are clearly good friends, chatting softly about life and art and whatever. It's absurdly peaceful and calming.... Aurora could start an ASMR channel and make millions. And I'm not even kidding.... People have careers doing that. Yet I've never heard anyone who's nearly as ASMR-y as Aurora.
I love how she just licks the plant like she's a humingbird, and doesn't acknowledge it at all. lol....she's so free, isn't she? she just does and is whatever she wants to do and be. it's inspiring. i wish i was a lot more like her in that respect. but if i lick plants....people are going to worry about me. so unfair, ya know? ;P
Lovely. But we don't get to see the depth of her soul I guess :) She gives such nice thoughts to us. About warrior, I think Bjork is a famous weird warrior :)
She's certainly spoken about that in other interviews. Especially during the latest round of interviews for The Gods We Can Touch, given how central a theme religion and spirituality is to that album. She's pretty clearly an atheist in the sense that she doesn't believe in any literal god. But she also seems to be a bit of an animist in the sense that the source of all reality, whatever that is, is essentially divine and embedded in every single facet of reality. She clearly doesn't like religion and the horrific ethical effects of it....but she's also quite fascinated by it as well. Theocracy seems like a big no no for her....while a more primordial animistic non-theistic spirituality is what she's into. That's my best interpretation....after watching/listening/reading every single interview she's ever done lol.
@@avedic not everyone believes in reincarnation especially atheists. And exactly i will say majority of people fall under agnostic for majority of people really don't have strong opinions on if there is or isn't a God they usually go" well maybe or maybe not I don't really care I'm just gonna live my life". She said she believes in reincarnation so she most likely believes in some sort of spiritual "magic" realm and she sings about her idealized "good" God. Though tbf she could just believe in a spiritual sense like Buddhism where there isn't a "God" at least in a physical sense unlike most other religion's. You wouldn't call Buddhist atheists that 100% is a religion with a "afterlife" and all
@@LunaticKing-fj3hp I'm not really sure what your point is..? When I said everyone is technically, by definition, agnostic I was using the literal definition of the word. Theism and atheism address an affirmative belief claim. While gnosticism and agnosticism address implicit knowledge. Given that, everyone cannot help but be agnostic on the subject of theism. Therefore labeling oneself as theist is simply an explicit embrace of credulity. But then apart from all THAT, we have religion and spirituality, nebulous terms that fall on an empirical and ethical spectrum, from quite positive to quite negative.
Because it's what necessarily follows after 24:35. Blame entropy. But 24:37? Now that's just unnecessary. It's pushing it a bit too far imo.... And don't even get me started on 24:38.... >_
