Aurora Aksnes, 27 from Norway. She wrote this song "Runaway" when she was 11 years old. A true artist in all ways. A singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer and choreographer. She is self taught as a singer, musician. She started ballet lessons from around 6 years old then progressed into interpretive dance until age 16. She never planned on becoming an artist and originally refused the offer from her management company. She has been touring the world for many years and she calls her global fan base "warriors and weirdos". I do hope you listen to more of Aurora's music especially her live performances. Thanks.

Nice reaction to my favourite artist Yes she did write this whole song at the age of 11, and at that age she didn’t quite understand the meaning of the song, but as she grew older she knew that home meant home to her parents. It’s an important song for her, and one of few songs that are about herself. She was 18 when this song was produced and released. She didn’t have anything to do with the production of her first album, but the other ones she has very much to do with it, about 90%. This lyrics was a bit wrong though, when it says in the lyrics “down”, “gone”, “down” and “now now”, she actually sings “dah” and “no no”. the original video seems to be blocked in north america. bad music industry politics at work. i guess they are afraid that the video will hit the 1 billion viewer mark. anyway, have fun in the aurora rabbit hole, she has a lot to offer. most people will tell you to react to this piece from the nobel peace price concert, also the murder song (5 4 3 2 1) from the same concert.

It sure is a beautiful song, as well produced as it has been written and sung.
