Jeff Nice detailed video. Always wondered why they didn't mold the whole car as one piece. I watched a video on molding model cars for use with a slot car chassis. And how this person used a pressure pot connected to a air compressor to remove excess mold material. Which also removed air bubbles.
Hey Mike, I have used both the tan and the white. The tan hardens quicker than the white. The white seems to be somewhat pliable after the 10 minutes of being in the mold. It hardens better after you de-mold it. Since I have the white, I’m considering getting some of Alumilites’ dyes to mix in with the white. Should be fun! Let me know how you do with the white!!
Chassis were like playing with hot wheels but I can use the wheels for other cars I have one body I can work with and i can get more bodies they look like they are a bit smaller than the tjets
Hey Albert, the chassis were made by Johnny Lightning back in the late 90s. You'll find that they are compatible with Aurora's Thunder Jet slot car bodies. Keep having fun Alfred, see ya!!
