There’s a reason this song is more electronic/edm/rave. AURORA stated: “Our souls are starving because AI is taking over; art is being replaced by computers.” AURORA said she was inspired by Germany’s techno scene to create this song. In the 90s, Berlin was known for its underground rave culture. AURORA also stated: “I’m a very big fan of The Prodigy and Underworld and Chemical Brothers. I think that kind of music is very cool.” The song addresses the disconnection modern life imposes on humans. The techno inspiration in the song contrasts with its theme. While rave music is typically associated with sweaty, closed and overcrowded places, the song is about a person starving for connection.😊

Is there no end to this talented artist this album of which this song comes from is definitely my album of the year,lyrically it’s a masterpiece 16 songs that take you on a journey of every kind of emotional exploration of the heart and how as humans we deal with what the world has become,Aurora is fast becoming one of best songwriters of our generation forget your media driven mainstream music that churn out time after time the same old lyrics and cliches that you’ve heard hundreds of times before,Aurora is the essence of what the true art form of music is all about,for me at my age of 68 I’ve seen and heard scores of different artists and seen Aurora live in concert 3 times and will be seeing her again in October and I’ve no hesitation in putting her in my top 3 performer’s I’ve seen,Aurora is a very special artist and I’m blessed to have her music her words of medicine in my life.❤️

Aurora said she was thinking about Palestine while she was making this song. The white blankets over them reminds me of people dead in war zones so it covers the body. One of the hands also have the Palestine flag painted on. The last part is ia taking over the song. She really went deep on this one and yes it is catchy but I always cry to this song😅

Red living hands grabbing for the blue (fake) apple (AI). Aurora's songs normally have more than one meaning though, so I'm sure it has other meanings, but my mind is stuck on that 😄. Technology taking over and we're re all watching our phones while in reality starving for human interaction. She's more than once told her warriors to take breaks from social media and go out and meet real people (or something to that effect). Love the video. Elevated the song for me.

Amazing video fitting to the song (and I really mean it, it is incredibly good and artistic and yes disturbing in an artistic way). Visuals are stunning. There are also many symbolism in the video. Song is also amazing but I also need to mention at first listen I though even if good it is like one of worst Aurora song. Too be honest i can not explain it now as it fast moved to my top favorites from the album (probably it was like techno thing). For me there are like several things in this song. I mean it is of course about us humans on the earth. My mind interpret first part with war and a lack of empathy. Second part looks like is about AI and things connected with it and technology. You can find parts in my opinion is also about our pursuit for money, external beauty instead out inner beauty. Like many complex but not always good things connected with our lives and society. And in this society our soul starving (foe many reasons which I dont want to write to not make to so long explanations :) ). When I used in like 3rd listen to the techno ending I also love it and it fits to the meaning and song. End this red moon and slow motion with a drop is just amazing. And about style. She changes with every album. It is not like in this album she changes every time and surprises me, but in the same time it is still Aurora music with her style and many Auroras elements and her messages :). And last album is very different from previous, which was different then previous etc :). She is very versatile artist in my opinion and it is even more impressive if you take into account that she write her songs not line many other persons with different styles (but of course she cooperates with other people too).

Hi Paul 🖐 The only two songs that I think are great by Aurora! are "Eyes of a Child"! And "Dances with the Wolf"! All the other songs have realistic lyrics but I don't like her elf 🧚‍♀️ voice 🤷‍♂️I'm not an Aurora fan 🤷‍♂️ but Norwegian 🇧🇻 Angelina (Fan) Big AJ Angel 😇! That is a voice 😲 unique and achieved by "nobody"!!!
