Random click. Never heard this song before or any of the artists. Blown away by this cover. Extremely beautiful, instant eargasm, chills. Her voice is heavenly. Love the emotional, bluesy, doomy feel of this song. If I were to change anything, I would make that bass guitar more powerful to enhance the mood even more (I imagine, like the song Small Crimes by failure), and perhaps blend her vocals into it a little, but that's just me. Went and listened to the original, loved that as well. Obsessed with this song.

Wow. So a few years ago I couldn't get enough of AURORA's "Like A Version" cover on triple j ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GPTY6l_PX5k.html ) but I was so annoyed at triple j's intro because it threw me off when I was listening to one of my peaceful playlists lol! So I edited that out and found a beautiful photo to match with it. At the time I was just learning to edit on Premiere so I did some crappy titles and fades (you may notice or not that the photo fades and brightens during the song). So that's my story lol. had no idea this would nearly hit a million views and I'd get subs from it so I just wanted to share that with you all as you enjoy the song. yours is such a cliché weak joke of a comment. There's a reason the 20 year old song is the one people yearn for, when I listen to this cover I feel like someone is creating blasphemy of some sort. It sounds awful.

The original has it's feel so rarely but a few times I prefer it. This is something else entirely. It's rare that a cover can stand on its own. I love both but will always stop what I'm doing to listen to this.

This is the first song I've ever heard by Aurora (and I'm a huge fan of the original version by Massive Attack) but there are moments when she absolutely channels Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries. Gives me chills!
She has a great voice, but it's slightly overdone to me. The long runs throughout not letting you enjoy the instrumental keeps this a a notch or 2 at least below the original.

Aurora is delicate, deep, sweet, very expressive, emotional and performative and adorable. Despite the different style of music, her style reminds me of Kate Bush in her early career. In fact, the two approached the same theme and made two beautiful songs about "seeing the world through the eyes of a child". Kate Bush with: The man whit child in hisc eyes, and Aurora with: Throught eyes of a child. They are truly two wonderful divas.
