Aurora was a dancer, studdied dancing for 10 years befor she decide to listen to her mother to become a singner cuz her mom told her '' your music can help so many ppl'' so she said yes to the producer who proposed to make an album... she was 16, never made any concert, sang once in front of her class. (someone put it on internet without her permission and she had an offer to be signed) it took her over 100 concert to feel better on a stage. About The Seed... that is her wake-up call to us for taking care of mother earth, she's deeply invested in it, buying used thing, her sister creat her close frome old close or fabrics, she is vegan, don't own car and walk as much as possible, planing world tour on doing less plain trip as possible ( no back-n-front) she is doing what she's saying. Hello... thank you for the video. I have not watched it for a long time. Her new Videos are much more elaborate in terms of set, costume and light. But I really love this one still. The small set expressed perfectly how we shrink the earth... she is a true artist... 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
Great reaction! Although pretty much everyone prefers her live, she does have some very cool and creative music videos. Perhaps none better than "The River," so I would recommend that one next.
When you get round to doing more live performances there are two beloved concerts in the fandom, the HAIK concert (in a forest !) and the nidarosdomen concert (stunning cathedral). I highly recommend nearly all of HAIK but The seed in the HAIK concert is extra special as AURORA is surprised by a male choir that joins her (it was all for a reality tv show in Norway). There are also two very popular live performances of Murder Song and Runaway that are beloved by the fandom and the KEXP concert that is very cool.
Yay, Ashlena is back to Aurora, great reaction, her MV are really good, she is just so much better live. Apple Tree, Running with the Wolves and Winter Bird are the other MV that I think are great to watch, but, saying again, live, Aurora is best served live, lol

I agree with you on doing the recorded version (and official music videos) first, and then dive into live stuff. I like to hear the recorded version first to hear the song the way the artist intended and then hear their live takes on it once I actually know and am familiar with the song.
Goodie 😊.She has several songs dealing with mother nature by now (she more or less grew up playing alone in the forest), and did a lovely stripped live set at the COP26 in 2021. One of her performances I return to the most. She's great in smaller settings, and also loves performing for smaller audiences. Maybe a bit early as you've not heard all her songs yet, but it starts with lovely versions of "Infections of a Different Kind" and "The River" and end with yet another great version of "The Seed". Whatever you end up watching/listening to next I'm here for though 😊.
Beautiful and powerful. Her one music video that I would absolutely recommend first, even though she has some great live versions of this song, because the combination of the song's energy and the visuals is so impactful. She has great music videos, although I kinda miss (but only a bit here) the raw emotions that fill her live singing.🙃 Anyway, thanks to you, I love the way this Sunday is starting! Thank you for this great reaction. Some of my favourite performances from Aurora are of live performances of songs that are not on any of her albums. Some are covers of other artists songs that Aurora and her team have reworked, some are her original songs that she did not release but are nonetheless just fantastic.

This song has really powerful and important message. She is very passionate about topics that are important for her or touched her in some way. Great video too. Love Aurora. You can look forward to her live performances - mostly even better than the videos… attended her concert last november - crazy good! The HAIK concert (and documentary) is good, but in my opinion nothing beats her concert in the Nidaros Cathedral (Nidarosdomen). I guess you’ll also like other Norwegian artists like Susanne Sundfør, Angelina Jordan, Ane Brun, Sigrid, Sivert Høyem (and more)…

I love how some random RU-vid person begins their journey down the Aurora rabbit hole..... And Bjomar, Lill M, Old Person, and myself all somehow get the bat signal and show up. I'm just surprised Tim isn't here...yet. Have you thought about what live stuff you'll do first? I'd like to think I speak for everyone by strongly suggesting the Nidarosdomen concert. It's THE Aurora concert. Legit life changing tbh.
Also....for what it's worth, the Nidarosdomen concert was aired by NRK, which is basically Norway's version of PBS, so you can post it uncut and whatnot and not worry about copyright. Plenty of reaction channels have done the whole concert without snipping out anything. Which is always nice. It's absurd that such strikes are even a thing. All reaction channels do is introduce people to artists they might have never come across otherwise, or help build a community for people already fans of an artist. It ONLY helps the artist. Punishing such channels is so weirdly counterproductive. I hope record companies realize how absurd they are being....

Great reaction! It’s so nice to see someone new discovering Aurora! Most people will tell you that her live performances are almost always better than the album recordings,mainly because the visual performances add so much more to the songs. One small request , though. Please don’t skip-step through her videos. It’s jarring, and a bit off-putting. Great reactions, though!
@@ashlenamusic yup, Aurora fans and most reaction video fans and your followers won’t care if you just sit there in bliss and wonder for the duration of the song, then make your observations after. We’ve all seen the video, we’ve all heard the music, but we’re in no hurry, we’re just happy to watch someone experience it anew. You could watch an hour’s worth of concert or documentary footage with only interspersed comments and we’d be happy to watch it with you. This is, of course, just my opinion. I don’t need a reactor to be talking all the time to hold my attention, but in the end you do you. I’ll still watch because when you do comment, I like what you have to say.
