I have never been able to see that performance without crying. When she says “please don’t leave me here” it rips my heart out every time.

AURORA is the full package! She really stands out among the current field of female singers !

Really great reaction and very interesting comments. Of course Aurora is true artist and very interesting personality too. This particular performance is magical (as a whole 1h concert). Hope for more reaction for her music in a future. I would recommend to check Lucky from the same concert (she started wrote this song at a age of 9) and then f.e. "All Is Soft Inside" and "Churchyard" live from KEXP 2018 and "It Happened Quiet" live from the Current. And there are so many more great song/performances it is even hard to rank them for me :).

I am happy that you found Aurora and I think you are a great reactor to her work, because practically all her songs have a deep meaning and address important issues and problems in the world. And she has a lot to say, more than 100 songs she already wrote down. She is the perfect messenger and she cares about all of us - she is very concerned about mother earth and it´s people, but puts hope in the younger generation. You should do a reaction to her video "Queendom". It says a lot about who she is, and how much she care about her "weirdo's and warriors", and just people in general. Also her video "The river" She IS better live, but those video's is a must in my opinion.

She is absolutely amazing live. Finally got see her perform live this year in Toronto. Literally the second she walked out to start singing, I actually cried. There is something about her that makes you just feel things. She isn't just an artist, she is an experience.

Greetings from Scotland! Ahhh, the OTHER unique singer that I class as one of the most unique singers in the world! Aurora sees everything completely different than the rest of us mere humans! IF we were able to perceive the world as Aurora does, it would be a very different world that we would be living in now! Every word, every syllable is packed full of emotion in her songs! So glad you started with Aurora reactions. I have never been "into" music, but first time I heard Aurora, I felt the music inside. She brought out emotions I didnt even know music could do. It will be so interesting to hear your thoughts on why her music has that amazing effect. I'm not going to recommend any songs because whatever you choose...it's gonna be good. But I will recommend watching/reacting to the HAIK documentary. From a psychological perspective you get to understand a little bit of who she is. She even talks about being labelled autistic, which to me explains how she puts so much emotion into her music. It's just the way she is built... thx for reaction. Can't wait for more Aurora.

The little fairy from the land of Os ... Literally, the Os mountains in Norway. This was Aurora at her most serious, when NRK came to her about a concert in Trondheim Cathedral, the traditional venue where kings of Norway are crowned no less, she was in awe, and swore to be as reverential as possible. When she sings like this she goes to some other place, she is not with us, she is with the music. You could see it here, the song ends and Aurora looks out and tries to figure out what happened. In small venues she is very different, funny, zany, engaged with the crowd. She looses layers of clothing, the shoes go, she did this concert in her socks, but still that crystalline voice, and her wonderful songs. Aurora is the kind of artist you really need to experience live. The live performances are so full of energy, feelings and emotions and you are swept away in the fairytale she weaves with her songs.

I've said it before, 2 best singing ladies today are Aurora and Diana Ankudinova, ofc it's different on tones, but you can't help getting shivers whhn one of them is singing :)

Experiencing music internally is something I always tended to do in private, growing up in an abusive home I learned to keep what was happening inside to myself. It's such a vulnerable moment to put yourself fully in the music. I think that's why I've gotten hooked on certain reaction videos from people who are really feeling the music, it feels like I'm making a positive connection, if that makes sense.

A video you should watch is Aurora talking about her Frozen movie character and shows her during the recording process.

I can see u have found Angelina and Aurora. Norway got more female artists u should react to. Try Sigrid with Bad life or Dynamite(acustic). Emilie Nicolas and Astrid S are Also worth a listen😍

Personally, I would rather be taught by the song or the lyrics rather than the explanation behind the piece or the lyric and why it came out that way. I listen for the soul connection with music. Myself, being a musician, I write from my heart and soul. I leave the interpretation to the listener. If you don't like it, that's fine. But it's my music and it moved me at the moment when I wrote it. Aurora has moved me like few others have. Whether it's her lyrics or her voice, she's found that spot in so many people's soul. And for that, I thank her! She's a once in a lifetime talent!

Fantastic insights after the song. I have seen more than a few react to Aurora who were clearly made quite uncomfortable. Her authenticity can be challenging for those who are not overly authentic themselves. Clearly this was not your reaction though. I could see that the moment the look came across your face, that said without a word, 'this is something different'. I love classical music (not a big fan of the term either, but we use what we have), and Aurora is the essence of having the patience to really let the art speak. I love her music but I'm facinated (is it a words in english? ) by the persone she is, so I've watch all the entreview she gave that I could fine. For her, writing a song is healing or conforting a part of herself, she said that all of her song are emotion in little drawer inside her and that she just have to open to get back in the emotion she had when she created it, so yes she is the song, she is the music, she is juste in the emotion. She share her music to confort or heal other juste like it does for her. Her close are created and made by one of sister to get like what she realy want, often made out of old fabric and other close cuz she doesn't want to put money in ''new'' things, she want to reduce and reuses for the planet. The other sister does her make up (as few as she can) cuz no other can touch her face... she cut her hair with a pizza siser (yes by herself) and realy don't care about it. I heard you Rosalie...Just subscribed... that was a truthful reaction... from a music lover, not from a music's critic perspective... if I can make some sense of my own words... I agree with you on 99% of what you’ve said in the post reaction... as far as music is not supposed to be a weapon, I think it is supposed to be... a weapon to allow us humans to connect...Something that’s becoming harder and harder to do nowadays... I’m a musician/composer/songwriter, although in Portugal it’s not an easy way of making ends meat (in particular if you choose, or in other words, you don’t have the choice, to make it as an art form), and I’m a rock inclined being, yet an admirer of good writing and performing skills in any genre...but this young and powerful (trough softness) young lady impressed me a lot, more and more as I’ve dug deep into her discography and even more when I came to see the human being behind the artist (“Haik” and “Once Aurora” documentaries) ... A definitely unique human being, and perhaps a glimpse of what humankind could ever be, stripped out our self-awareness, judgmental way of thinking and all the shackles that comes with it ... she's one of those humans that see life as they were here before and when they let us take a peek into their soul, makes emotion soar through our skin (and eyes) and in the end with a large smile on our lips...
