INCREDIBLE Aussie Child GUITAR PRODIGY Jams SMOOTH With ROB THOMAS...PRO GUITARIST'S Intro To TAJ FARRANT • taj farrant and Rob Th... @TajFarrant_Official #tajfarrant #reaction #cosmicmiko
That was not his best, not to mention the sound quality being poor. I'm one of Taj's biggest fans. He started when he was 7. I was a child prodigy singer
Taj is phenomenal. He has been playing since he was 7 years old. We have seen him in concert three times now. First time he was all alone on stage. The BEST. We are big fans and our entire family from age 5 to age 79 love him. He is a natural. Some say he is SRV reincarnated. He was on Australia's Got Talent when he was just 9 and 10 years old. Amazing young man. Since he wrote "Just Can't Sleep", and "Crossroads", he wrote another song called "Cruz", which came out as the number 1 Blues tune in the USA and the UK. He made all the tracks by playing all of the instruments on the recording. Cannot deny his talent.
Taj recently did a one time only 2 hr tribute to SRV show in Texas at the end of December in Buda Texas. It was available for a livestream and it was incredible! It's amazing how big the guitar looks in his hands in this video lol. I think someone said recently he is almost 6ft tall at 14 so it fits really well in his hands now. I want to suggest you watch you watch a recent show of him playing Parisienne Walkways at The Beacon theater in Virginia. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jx8KkY5XV1k.htmlsi=VlXS6GqaUzzpkAjm He makes you feel something when he plays. A really rare talent. He and his guitar just seem to be one. He's selling out his shows faster and his popularity is growing daily. I have only seen him on his livestreams and I can't wait for the day to be able to attend one of his live shows soon! More and more people are going to multiple shows because they say he's that good live. He's supposed to have a new single coming out soon and a new album later this year. He's been writing and recording. Amazing for one so young. His family are with him at all times and run the business. His mom even makes jewelry out of his old guitar strings. People love them so much that when the RV for the band that tours with them broke down, a fan started a go fund me to help with the expenses to buy a new one. They raised $10,000. The family had nothing to do with it but people just love this kid, his parents and sister.
I've been following Taj since he was 9... I watched him grow up into what he is today! My mouth is always wide open!😮 He never disappoints and gives me goosebumps, evey time! He's moved to the USA! Selling out shows! Age 14!!!! 😮. This is just the beginning!
I have follow this kid .. father an grand father took him to a AC/DC concert he was setting on grandfather's shoulders and look down at his dad and said I'm going to do that Dad for the rest of my life please check him out try Tennessee whiskey yes I'm a Blues person 81 year old female
Yo. I love Taj! He does play a lot of blues and in the past year has been singing more (his voice is more mature now and he has great pitch). He pours his heart and soul into every song...the faces are real :) . He's also turning into a wonderful young man!
this kid made it into the spotlight on the back of one very good cover he did when he was nine years old...it was the best thing he's ever done and probably ever will do... there's a whole bunch of other really good guitar kids out there who sadly don't get even a small fraction of the attention this boy gets...taj is the fast-master of the bluesy-shred for sure...but i'm still waiting to see real evidence of more depth to his playing... it's what's in your head rather than what's in your fingers that counts...has he got what it takes?... only time and tide will tell.
I once played an encore with better than Ezra…..dude threw his guitar at me and said play sympathy for the devil….all the guys from Matchbox came out too….it was pretty fun but A….I was wasted because my set was over! 😂 B….no one videoed it!!! C…..I was 27 I’m jealous of this kid!! 😂 He’ll be household name by 27!!
@@michaelgoyettemusic Hmm not a band I know. perhaps they didn't make it over this side of the Atlantic? or maybe I just missed them. Great experience I bet but not as impressive at 27 though eh? haha. I hope someone is keeping this wee fella grounded. We all know what the music industry can do to people.
@@fret-less they were big in the late 90s. They had a hit called “Counting Blue Cars” in chorus hook he says “tell me all your thoughts on god…..” and no it’s not a Christian song. ;). Anyway yeah this kid’s parents better be close by at all times. :)
@@fret-less oh could be….I sometimes mix them up….they were both on that gig!! 😂 They had a hit I just can’t think of it right now I guess…..we were all opening for them though!!
Yo. Wow. Another artist who's new to me. I checked out his channel and subbed. Loved his recent one: Cruz (mentioned by @valogden above). So much talent for being so young. Love to see more. 💛
@@michaelgoyettemusic Haha, no mate, I just appreciate good music, and across a lot of genres, in my opinion, having soul is more important than hitting everything note perfectly, for the perfect amount of time! I grew up watching a lot of punk/hardcore in Australian pubs, even a good punk band will have soul. I listen to my teenage son pickup whatever instrument, or hit the keys, and the thing that makes me happy is that he has soul. Me, I’m just a music fan 😉 PS, my son is doing music as his core element at high school so he has learned to read and write music, I’m just glad he can also play with soul.
@@Buy_Me_A_Nightmare 😂 too funny! Reading really helps to be a session player…..I was a session player before I went to school so I had to memorize everything cause I couldn’t read…..I still can’t read fast enough to play something on the spot. Your kid is heading in the right direction……if he doesn’t know, being able to sing is the factor that will either get him all the gigs…..or a couple gigs here and there. Get good at singing too!!! ✌️ ❤️
@@michaelgoyettemusic He’s just started his first rock band outside of school, they practice on Saturdays, he told me last weekend that finding a good singer has been difficult so he’s doing most of the singing, and really working on singing well. I’m proud of him, he doesn’t take it for granted, he understands stage presence and he makes sure he’s on top of that as well.
@@Buy_Me_A_Nightmare that’s good…..in LA I lost many gigs to guitarists who were half as good as me but could sing. It’s important……that was my mistake when I was young.
