David Phelps lights up the world whenever he sings. Too bad people can’t appreciate singers putting their own touch to a song without being condemning. David is one of the most beautiful people inside that you would ever meet and I’m sure he has the highest regard for the original singer. I’m not familiar with him or the song but I’m sure I would enjoy both performances of the song
Lyle, if someone had told you 4 years ago when you first heard David sing O Holy Night that you would one day personally interview him, would you have believed them? Enjoyed watching you react to David singing a song that was such an integral part of your youth. Blessings to you and your family!

It's good to see American artists wanting to cover our Farnseys iconic song. It's very hard to compare anyone to John singing this song, the song and John just go hand in hand. But Phelps did a good job. Glad he didn't try and do a carbon copy and sang it a bit differently ...❤
I love David tremendously and his version has its many differences from that of the great John Farnham and I’m happy for that because they are both so talented in their own right that being said..John will always own this iconic song with his iconic voice!!

Thumbs down from me. Nobody can match a Farnham performance. Of course everybodywants to do this song cos it's such a great song ...but not everybody should....cos your itty bitty toes don't fit that big shoe.
