I'm so happy they got to try Chapman🥰, as a Nigerian 🇳🇬, this is our form of refreshing fruity beverage with a dash of alcohol of course 😄, we serve this in most occasions (including festive periods) we are having outside together with snacks of course, since our weather is relatively hot most times, you could get it at bars too on a night out as well 😉.

My MIL would serve hot toddy’s when I was just coming down sick. She made them with tea, lemon, sugar and whiskey. So yummy. They seemed to help.

The only time I would have a hot toddy is if I was sick or felt a cold coming on. That is something my parents would make when we didn't feel well. That or a shot of ginger brandy. Oh... ps not from Ireland, but that was brought over to New England in the US a long time ago. Massachusetts was a melting pot of people from different countries and they brought over some pretty great things.
