Austin Area Tour 

Once again, a wonderful video! Thanks! Being that I've been ill, with a heart condition that has seriously debilitated me from doing many of the activities that I used to engage in, such as travel and showing visitors around my own local treasures and history, this video, in particular, touched my heart, made me cry. What a splendidly good thing to share our home towns and local sites with others! The look on Debbie's face, and both of yours', as you all shared and enjoyed God's Beauty and your experience, was truly uplifting. It encouraged me to hope that I might, again, share such experiences with my wife, Carol, and others, too. You brought back much memories to my heart and mind. I thank you all for sharing it. And I, too, join, with everyone, in thanking you for the type of refreshing video: very pastoral and unique, and the singing added a spontaneous, tender, blessed announcing to it all! God is with you! Bless your hearts, All Participants! If ever you get to Massachusetts or The White Mountains of New Hampshire, I promise to take you on one of my famous, historical tours. I used to take military TDY travelers around on weekends.

The beauty of having your RV. You didn't have to cancel hotel reservations etc to decide to stay a few days. Thanks for sparing us the city snd showing the country!

Nothing like the Father's creation to bring peace and contentment. I really liked the creativity of the plant 🪴🌵shop and the surroundings. You can see how much thought n planning went into it. 'Its so cool!' Elizabeth's favorite phrase😅 Debbie's smile brightened the outing🌳🌲🌴

What an interesting tour! It was so unique getting to see small, out of the way places that we would never get to see. It was so nice of Debbie to show you these interesting places. The trees, streams, bluebells, parks were so pretty but I especially loved the quaint shops with such special handicrafts and plants. Thanks for taking us along!

Thank you for taking us on your trip with you. That was a beautiful state park; and some lovely little stores in that little town of Wimberley.

Hamilton Pool waterfall was just down the road from Reimer Park. Used to be one of our best kept secrets. But Austin is growing and even the sleepy towns like Wimberly is expanding. Elizabeth, I've flown all the way to the remote deserts of Israel and Jordan, seeking that peace and quiet. You've reminded me that I can have that silent solitude here in Texas!

I was listening to the video while doing something in the kitchen but when you said "Wimberly," I screamed Elizabeth! I went there for a day trip a few years ago during a trip to Austin for the holidays. I fell in love with Wimberly. Had a delicious lunch-visited some great ships and finished the day with ice cream from the ice cream shop. WoW! Great memories and great video. Thank y'all so much for sharing with us.❤️

Austin is my sister place of residence and when I got home now….this is my base. ( parents and brothers have all passed away)I was born and grew up in TEXAS and even though I’ve now lived longer in Australia than I did the 26 yrs of my formative life in Texas …it will always be home! But you have now taken me to a place I didn’t know existed. Beautiful…water and scenery. Thank you for the bluebonnets …. My favourite flower! This flower is not grown here so I have a few silk ones in my Texas corner of my kitchen. I also have tons of painting is picture with bluebonnets! Thanks for making my day a bit better with flashes of home! 😊❤

Oh wow, how nice to see you visiting Austin! My sister and her husband live there! My sister is in the medical field and her husband owns a large construction company, many of the homes he has built for the rich and famous. I love the blue bonnets and the lantanas are beautiful. ❤

I really enjoyed going along with y’all on this fun tour. I’ve been to Austin many times but always for business travel. Never really seen Austin’s. Great friends, but it takes great friends to make great friends which I’m sure you both are.

I believe that years ago, a Texas first lady had the State flower, the Blue Bonnet, planted through out the state highway system. I wonder if they still bloom.

I first saw some of those Turkish lamps in a store in the French Quarter and fell in love. Gorgeous. What a beautiful area you were in. My favorite thing in Austin was the bats flying out from under the Congress Ave bridge.

Wimberley is a great little town. I went to college near there in San Marcos. Tubing on the many local rivers is a fun summer activity. In Wimberley, there is a great spring fed creek to swim in, The Blue Hole. Very cold water!

You'd have had to drag me from that plant shop! Goals for my home (if only I didn't have a brown thumb). I've seen a number of thrifting vids where folks have found all types of those Turkish lamps. Something I'd had to have been torn away from gazing at. The water! Me too, I'd be all up in it!
