This is Austin flexing his classically trained voice at it's best! I've never heard this song performed better than Austin's rendition. He is amazingly talented both solo and with Home Free. Nothing left to say!
This is Austin's world right here, musical theater is what he studied in college, it's his roots. If you just took the first note and the last you'd have to say "That's a singer!" But all the wonderful things in between, just so good. Yes, check out all of the Austin and Tim's solo work and their non Home Free stuff Tim and Austin do with the group "Sweet and Low" some really great content.
Isn't this spectacular. We are so lucky to have 5 of the most talented men in the music industry. Not industry, artistry. Home Free is so special and unique because of the individuals that came together. We are so privileged to witness such talent.
I love this song so much and the movie.. Now that Austin has sung this..This is my all-time favorite version. Way to go Austin gorgeous, gorgeous vocals... Bless you beautiful boy.. I just have Goosebumps everywhere and they won't go away thank you Austin..
We are all so fortunate that the members of Home Free have their solo outlets but come back as the BEST Acapella group that there is Home Free. They could all have their own solo careers.
Les Misérables never fails to get me all emotional - stirring stuff. Those who aren't aware, this song was sung by the lead character on the eve of a battle, as he prays to God to save a fellow fighter's life - a young man who is in love with his daughter and whom he considers 'like a son' to him. It's a beautiful and emotional song. If you've not watched the musical, I recommend it. The music is stunning!
Saucy Dad, you really need to hear him sing "when a man loves a woman" he will truly blow your mind singing lead on that one with the rest of the fellas singing background..and the Rupster with his fantastic mouthular drum kit..strap yourself down in that chair..you will not be disappointed..and as always, great great great reaction..oh, and I don't usually leave a lot of comments because I tend to shy away from it, but I always hit the like icon..however, on occasion, I tend to ramble on, so this seasoned lady will shush up now lol❤
You can see why the Home Free guys kept in touch with Austin when they saw him perform on the cruise ship. Home Free were guest artists and went to see the onboard cast perform and were blown away. When Matt decided to leave they called Austin. There is a video where they discuss it. Little Red Riding Hood at the Patreon party.
If you don't know the song it's from the musical Les Miserables. It's a hugely emotional moment in the musical and it's a song that always gets to me. Did you know that Rob had also had some operatic training? I think even with everything they've done as Home Free there's a lot more to all of them. There's a live version of this combined with some hilarious on stage shenanigans here (think it's been recommended to you before? BHH & WWTWWS) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XH2qKN4KgB4.html
For me, it brings back memories of sending my first-born son to Iraq with the Corps in '03. Watching them bomb Baghdad and knowing my son was in the air being fired on....well, I can't put it into words.
He was out by his pond when recording Tears in Heaven and Ain't No Sunshine. A truly beautiful voice for those very moving songs. And please keep watching Ain't No Sunshine when the song is over. Austin has a message that is very sweet and shows his good heart. I love your reactions. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
This is from the Broadway play Les Miserables. Austin’s so powerful. That last note….goodness gracious. He’s so good and Sebastien’s piano accompaniment is stupendous. Bravo! Good reaction Saucy!
That was very beautiful. Austin has a great voice for musical theatre songs. Glad all the guys have creative outlets for solo projects. But as much as I enjoy all their solo stuff, my favorites are still when they are all together as a group as Home Free with Adam Rupp. And I hope that never changes.
I knew you'd be blown away by this. It's such a beautiful, emotional song. And when heard in the context of the show it's from, it's devastating. Austin really nails it.
Austin and Sabastian Saba is Austins long time friend always plays for him. This is a lower Octive then he does on the live shows, and changes the ending alittle.
Austin has done a lot of songs. He's done Tears in Heaven among others like Etta James, Justin Beeber, the Righteous Brothers, and many others. You'll love them. It's so good to have you back. Thanks for entertaining us.
Thank you so much for this!! Austin went to college for musical theater and could easily be on Broadway! His voice is outstanding! Tears in Heaven and Unchained Melody are a must from him! I am so glad you are back, you make a lot of us smile and our days better!! 🤗❤️
Great reaction! Oh my, if you have not been watching his solo videos, be sure to check them out! He is just a super talent! Can do anything with his voice. Country twang full on, pop genre, whatever is needed, this he shows off his early musical theater/classical training. Amazing! So Tears in Heaven a real tear-jerker he just kills it! Unchained Melody with now millions of views! And At Last I love (Etta James key he sings in). I love some of his originals, Off the Grid, If I Met You Now. Anyway, enjoy them all! Take care.
Austin would probably be thrilled to hear that watching this makes you want to go sing along! He's so talented and versatile! BTW, I would subscribe a hundred more times if RU-vid would allow!!!
You should really watch the live version with home free! it's amazing. And I will keep comenting on every video you make TO WATCH WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN
I’m so glad you finally got to Austin’s music. He is truly amazing to me. I love HF, but I adore Austin. All his music is full of emotion. Great reaction!! 🔥🔥 check out Austin’s unchained melody, Danny boy, tears in heaven.
Thanks for the video, SauceyDad. Loving your return and great to hear the community is looking after you. "Like draws like" - just remember that and you won't be so surprised by how many nice people are here to spend some time with you. Take care and love to the family, from sunny (but freezing) England.
I'm so glad to see you back!! I love watching your videos. Yes, this is amazing!!! I wasn't very familiar with this song, having only heard it one other time before hearing Austin sing it. It's unbelievable from Austin!! It's from Les Miserables.
Check out "When A Man Loves A Woman" home free. Also check out David Phelps, "No More Nights". Seen Home Free in concert 5 or 6 times. You have to go see them in concert
I didnt think you were going to stop, at all, you were just drawn into the whole performance like you said mesmerized. I've heard this, at least, 100 times and it gets every time
Austin did this same song way back in 2014 -2016 live with the guys. If you watch any of them you will see his group. He is my absolute favorite. Please check the rest of his solo stuff. And then Tim and Chance also have their own channels too.
Austin has his own You Tube channel with wonderful cover and Amazing originals. He has so much talent and is just has tremendous talent., songwriting and singing both. Please react to more of his solo work and of course Home Free.
Saucey, doesn't seem right that this is the first time you are reacting to Austin solo. No way you could be this much behind the curve. There's much more beautiful music on Austin's YT channel you could be reacting to. Please, we are here to listen to more music from Austin's channel, Thank you! Cheers!
Austin glazing his vocal chops is just incredible. The only other musician who can have the same effect is Mitch Grassi from Pentatonix. Both are vocal power house musicians who happen to be incredible vocalists. Speechless is the only word.
Oh my God, Saucey Dad, you have to listen to Austin sing Tears in Heaven and Danny Boy sung at his house. You will fall off your chair!!! Sandy in Palm Springs xo
I love that this was one of the songs that Austin was singing on those cruise ships. All near to the time he heard Home Free and wanted to join. So glad that it worked out. This was amazing. Thanks for your reaction. Take care
This comes from one of my favorite musicals. I love this song. It's one of my favorites, but he is giving me a whole new appreciation for it.im glad I got to share this with you. I would love to see what you think of his cover of tears in heaven.
SauceyDad, If you enjoyed and were stunned, like the rest of us, with Austin Brown singing "Bring Him Home"; then listen to his solo rendition of "Unchained Melody" - not the whole group version and not the one with Austin soloing in a live performance, but the one in this same venue with his guitar player. Wow! Not in the wildest dreams of the Righteous Brothers!
I've seen this many times and you are the first one to mention the tv on fire.. Cool comment.. Check out Austin's Unchained Melody, it's fantastic too..
Great reaction, it is truly stunning. Makes me remember something I pray you will react to, it comes up on YT as BHH & WWTWWS, this song live and then a skit that will have you laughing your head off. 👃
