I am not a country music fan (although I appreciate a lot of it), but I could listen to Suzy sing all day and all night, any type of music. She is just that amazing. A true talent. Not a single pop "singer" or "diva" of the last thirty or so years are anywhere close to being in Suzy's league. Keep up the great work, Suzy, and thank you for sharing your incredible gift.
Have seen her twice in Fort Worth and walked away saying she deserves to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame. She sang "Wayfaring Stranger" and I started laughing because it was so good. As pure a voice as one could hope to find, great stage presence, and a down to earth person.
What a beautiful voice and a beautiful lady to look at and listen to. I could sit and talk or listen to her all day I think. She is great. Thanks Suzy.
Drive South is a SB favorite and the music video of it was shot in Wilmington,NC and features views of the Cape Fear river and Carolina Beach ⛱️ Lovely lady, beautiful voice.
I was at this show at The Palmer Auditorium which was not the typical venue for ACL. As I recall, she was doing a show with Chet Atkinson. The combination of the two artists was the reason for the change of venue. At that time ACL was broadcast from the Communications Bldg. on the UT Campus. I took a friend who wasn’t into country music, but he really enjoyed the show. I kidded him that he became a Suzy Boggus groupie after that.
Thanks for sharing this with us. "Outbound Plane" is my favorite of all her song hits. Which is why it puzzles me, all the more, why Time-Life Treasuries of Music couldn't even include _just that one_ in their new "Austin City Limits" video album package!
video cuts out a the end. yes distortion. Other than that a fine performance by a sweet soulful folks country singer. that I've admired through the years.
That'd make her & I, about 35ish then. Wish I'd been there. That & the Stevie Ray Von concert. I may have been in Phoenix Arizona, about then. You mean she's not in the Country Music Hall of Fame?

Suzy is so good and this is just the best concert. Can the original poster or somebody possibly with the master do something about the oversaturation on the audio and please reissue?
Suzy should have been a much bigger star, a crossover star. Material from a broader range. She does old chestnut Chicago. Why not Graham Parker? Some Wings like "Backseat of My Car." Ron Wood, "Breath on Me." "Always It's You," by the Everlys.
Can this be remastered or does somebody have the original? It's such an excellent concert otherwise. It deserves so much better. One of the best performances. EDIT: I should add that I am thankful to the OP that we have this at all, just wish for better audio as others have said, as it's otherwise such a good performance--enough so to stick it out despite the over-saturation!
