I like that the in-game lore includes something called 'the Burbank act' - Burbank being Truman's surname in The Truman Show

This game combines both Truman true reality show with the realized original Disney EPCOT project as its setpiece really well. They really make use all of the reference, especially how Arcadia is almost perfectly captures how Disney EPCOT would look like if it fully realized, from the city layout, city waste and energy management, into little detail like that there's monorail going into the bigest hotel in the ARCADIA.

Do you really think the folks behind Venba or Liyla and The Shadows of War, want you to play their games, because of their skin colour? Is that all that really matters? I hope not. Judge on the game's merits.

Astonished it took that much time for someone to release a game inspired by The Truman Show, but it's great to see! Games can be so much more than running and gunning and getting new armor. The stealth part of the gameplay resembles Inside a lot too, which is great! I think it fits with the theme quite well.

I absolutely love that indies are getting more dedicated videos, as the indie highlights in this week in gaming is hands down my favorite segment and why I watch this week in gaming every week. Always found it a shame that it was the only coverage indies got on the channel.

I finished this game the other day. It was a blast. My one complaint is that a lot of the mechanics that they introduced were only used for like 5 minutes.

Hey, wanted to say, I know indie games coverage doesn't score with same amount of views than AAA games, but I really appreciate you're trying to review some of them anyway. So many journalists or youtubers say "yeah, AAA always the same, it's boring, new ideas only appears on indie games" but they never review them. Still, there must be a way to be attractive with indie games reviewing - Iron pineapple does millions of views with student projects, so... I hope you'll find a way. Cheers.

I know you gave the voice actor props, but something about the characters design makes it seem off that that voice is accompying it. The exaggerated mustache and such make him seem older than he sounds. Other than that minor gripe it looks really interesting! I wonder how much of story there is left with some of the main reveals pretty out in the open.

I agree with the premise that subtlety is appreciated when talking about themes. However in our culture (particularly American culture) media literacy is basically non-existent in the average population so I can see the need as a writer to remove ambiguity. Like sure people who consume and think about media often are going to see the obvious but most people I find have massive blinders when it comes to these things.

I've been interested in this game since I tried the demo back in the last Steam Next Fest, so I bought it the moment it launched. I absolutely loved it. Had a few performance issues here and there but those aside the entire package is fantastic. Interested in this developer now, so I'll be trying Call of the Sea next.
