Guys, it's been a hell of a ride. Thank you so much for your constant support, and for allowing me to be a part of this channel and the Knife Banter series. It's been an unforgettable experience for me to be able to get to meet a lot of you around the country, sign your knife packages, and interact with you here in the comments. I am very lucky to have been in a position where I can just sit down once a week, talk about some knafs, and hear all your stories and feedback in response. It wouldn't be possible without you, the subscribers and fans. Thank you for an amazing year! Seeya guys ✌ -Austin Goetz
***I have an idea for future knife banter videos*** Continue the show but have a different Blade HQ employee or guest on the show every week. It would be cool to hear from other Blade HQ employees. I know all you guys at Blade HQ are into knives. I am sure everyone has some knives to show off or cool knives to talk about or an esoteric knife interest that they want to share.
I have many many blade hq orders in recent history but fell out of it recently in exchange for fishing. This video has reignited the flame! Austin, you will honestly be missed! Good luck in Portland bro
It sucks to watch these videos two years later and realize you missed out on such a cool dude. Hopefully Austin is doing really well wherever he is 🤜🏽🤛🏽
I've watched all of your videos since day one, and I wanted to say thank you Austin for all the good times and the good suggestions. And, a continued thanks to Ben for all of the detailed information I can't get without my hands on the knife. Best of luck to you both, and the best of sharp edges to you all. -Unhallowed343
Saw all the knives and was about to close the webpage and something in the back of my mind said, "nah dude watch the last couple minutes. You have nothing else to do." So glad I did. Good look Austin!
Ben moved to Portland and then moved back, so I hope you do too, Austin! Seriously, Knife Banter has been awesome and you're part of the reason why, man, best of luck!
Dear Austin, I had the joy of meeting you at blade this year! You're awesome, the fans of bladehq will miss you. Good luck on your new start! I think you're missing a Brous blades Bionic I've owned mine for a around 3 years and it's amazing It may seem like just a flipper. But you can middle finger flick it with the groove. Great ergos, super light, awesome flipper. I can't say enough good stuff about the knife or Brous in general. I've owned 6 Brous blades lol.
I have many knife banter episodes on my phone so I can watch them anywhere And I just watched the first video from Austin and his purchased knifes while I saw that a new video with him is online ... hilarious
Totally bummed. I love this series, but I hope Oregon treats him well! Please keep the series going, I love seeing all the new knives and learning new things from this series!
Austin, nooooo! I'm definitely sad you won't be part of the channel anymore, but I wish you luck in all your future endeavors. I've really enjoyed watching how you and Ben interact and I'm hoping they can find someone to fill your shoes. Good luck in Portland. Bring an umbrella. Any chance of doing occasional episodes remotely?
I been watching tons of your guys videos not just because of the knives but because of everyone enthusiastic personality and your guys interests the channel have grown so much and im speaking for a lot of people here, you guys are very entertaining. Sad to see Austin leaves, he is cute af
Sorry to see you go Austin. I really enjoyed Knife Banter with you and Ben. But, I'm happy for you if your moving into a new, "happier" chapter in your life. Best of luck Austin. You will be missed. "45acpP90…..A.K.A Shawn from SoCal."
I certainly get it! Since February I've collected over 100 knives....mostly from amazon because of the 2 day shipping but several from bladehq. I actually have a piranha hybrid auto that just shipped coming! I love how you guys are mainly a knife company and have everyyyyy knife out there where as amazon has many but nothing like your quality knives in stock. I have my high end knife bag with 26 and a 54 knife roll bag with all my less expensive- mid range ones. And a drawer full of duplicates new in box lol. I have a problem, and it looks like you do too lol. Gotta love it! Good video I saw a few I want to add to my collection. And if you don't already have it buy the kme sharpener! I've put a crazy awesome mirror edge on all my knives!
Just got interested in knifes a little while ago.. ive watched this channel since then, but dam.. i really got a hang of what Austin did, how he told us everything and.. yeah.. whyyy? Noo omg.. wow.. yeah..
Yeah... I think it's gonna be Benchmade... which is cool bcoz he can give some interesting ideas that we can see in the future benchmade products? Sounds interesting.
No Austin!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck man, you will be missed. I was visiting my daughter and her family in Springville last month and visited Blade HQ. Left with a waved Delica and Higonokami.
Austin, before you go check out the Redford-designed Kershaw Amplitude 2.5! It's right up your alley. It's the first knife I've had that has zero pocket presence. The speed-assist is tweaked to just barely help to flip the blade open (like you, I'm very wary of any assisted openers). It's also the cheapest knife I own by quite a bit, which doesn't hurt.
Austin is such a nice and chill dude. I have been trying to catch up with as many episodes as possible and even going back to review the old ones. So this is his last episode. I was wondering why I don't see Austin anymore. I'm sad that he had to leave but happy at the same time that he tried to pursue a brand new feature. This might be a little late. But I wish you all the best and good luck Austin. Anyway, Zac is as awesome as Austin in many other ways :)
What is up man! You're leaving? Today I received my box of goods and you signed a blank label "have a knife day" -Austin. I thought that was awesome. Thanks for the cool videos and hope to see you pop up somewhere cool.
