I'm living in Playa Vista, looking to move out of LA. Can't believe you mentioned my neighborhood @3:06! :) Great review! You are convincing me to make the move
Thinking about a move....but housing prices seem to be outrageous along with $$$property tax. And this is coming from a New Yorker! Would love to see a video on options for those without a 1mil budget. There has to be desirable options no?
Yes, the landscape is changing weekly at the moment but there definitely are areas under the 1M mark. It just depends on your needs (schools, proximity to downtown, work location). Happy to send a personal email . You can text, call or email if you'd like more info: natasha.antonioni@gmail.com / 512-988-1741 Thanks for the comment!
Loved your video! I´m moving to Austin in two months, in my 30s., with my girlfriend. Which neighborhoods would you recommend?? walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc is a priority, needs to have a vibe! any thoughts???? appreciate the help! I know downtown is suggested but might be really expensive. Working remotely.
Hi Sergio- best bet is to jump on a call. I’m away until Monday. Is there a good day/time next week? Maybe send me a couple options to 512-988-1741 or Natasha.antonioni@gmail.com
Well done video, but subject matter is depressing. Austin is turning into a mini-LA. Prices have gone up a lot (I mean a lot, like 50%) since this video was made, apparently in 2021. Natasha may disagree, but you can't live here in any area halfway desirable, without a ton of money. Consider moving to towns which aren't as trendy where you get a lot more for your money. If you can't afford a house in Austin, which is very likely, you are stuck with the apartment market. Apartments have gone up 40% this past year, making them also out of reach for many.
Prices are soaring, that's for sure, Joe. And yes some areas have increased at 75%+ this year! It is becoming quite the challenge to find affordable housing. And even when you find it, there are multiple offers to deal with. It is crazy times in our amazing city. Thank you for your comment.
The social contract theory, which assures that the government in question has been consented to by the people it has jurisdiction over, gives people the right to check their government if it steps out of line, leaving power with the majority. In simple terms, social contract theory asserts that government exists only by the consent of the people in order to protect basic rights and promote the common good of society. Teaching us to be kind is not the role of government; it's an attempt to compel conformity. See George Orwell, 1984.
Hi there! I recently took an opportunity with Amazon. I’m so excited to move to Austin! I’m looking for a 15 minute commute from the domain. I love outdoor activities!! I have a budget of $1500 - want to know if 2k+ is what I should expect. I’ve seen options at this price range but wanted to know if you have any particular recommendations?
Well there's lots to consider and mainly budget and household needs. Are you single? Do you have a family? Schools would weigh in if there are kiddos involved. Also, traffic. You'll likely want to live close so your commute isn't too tough. So North Austin, Round Rock or Cedar Park but to hone in, I'd need more information. Happy to jump on a call if you'd like. natasha@antonioniestates.com / 512-988-1741 Hope that helps narrow a bit at least!
@@NikeAirJordanGabes check out Allandale! It's close to downtown, will give you a shorter commute. Here's a link: cmps.re/D9XiLwC Happy to set up a call to dive deeper as well.
@@NatashaAntonioni Austin is that one blue dot among many in Texas. Californians are moving in for an affordable life style not to change their political view point. How do you think the mayor got elected? Changing demographics plus the city is becoming more diverse.
