Reminds me of our markets in Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 and also the other Caribbean Islands. Mandarins makes a lovely juice. Hope the roti was as great as home here.
I really enjoyed the market tour. Maria, the round purple fruit that you picked up it's called mangosteen. It is native to Southeast Asia. It has no relation to mango and does not taste anything like mango. It is very delicious. Once you open it you will see the fruit which is white like the soursop. It is EXTREMELY expensive in the USA.

Red dragonfruit tastes like nothing. The yellow ones taste better.when we’re you gonna fry the plantain.? It’s not ready. Unless you’re doing something different from frying plantain needs to be real ripe with some black spotsAround 15:30 what you were checking out the purple fruit is mangosteen.it’s so good. I love it bad bad. But so expensive. Like $8 us a lb. Problem with it is many times I’ve gotten bad ones Asia’s hard to tell if they are bad enough cause of tough outer part. I’ve also got them rock hard nothing can cut them.
