15:45 - Camping Trivia! The smoke from a campfire will always follow you, because a hot campfire creates its own up-draft. So cool fresh air is blowing in from the sides like a vortex. If you sit on one side of the campfire, you create a wind barrier. And the cool air will come in from the opposite direction to the barrier, causing the smoke in the up-draft to follow the wind barrier. The best way to combat this is to sit someone on the opposite side to the fire. You're welcome! ;)
I got a little confused about you weather comments until I remembered that our summer in the US is your winter. You live in a beautiful world down there. Thanks for these wonderful videos!
Love your videos and some awesome scenery. And they just keep getting better. Definitely helps putting up with lockdown watching them. Only wish I was out there to.
Another great clip mate, well done !!! I timed it perfectly this morning, a nice hot coffee and just enough minutes to watch this one before heading off to work for the day ... sweet !!! I really liked too how we were watching the in front of the scenes video today which featured "behind the scenes" footage we watched a week back, kind of like going into the future to come back to the present to watch the future again .... ouch ...... my head's now hurting 🤣 either way, keep up the GREAT videos mate, thoroughly enjoying every minute of them. 👍👍✅✅✅
Iv just started watching your videos. They are so good mate. Only been a 4x4 driver for a few years and I'm obsessed and you give so much good insight to learn from. Keep up the great work.
Just missed ya mate. We live local. Was just there. We been driving that quiet track for years. Good place. Rivers up high, Armidale got some serious rain and its just filled it all back up again 👍
Breathtakenly beautiful nature with rivers and trees in...4X4 and camping activities were filmed excellent and put together along with nature filming in the best possible way.
Great post like always mate, an your last post, I didn't realise the amount of work involved in making the video's, thanks digger, and I enjoy how raw you are keeping your videos, keep up the great work. Try cutting back on the pancakes lol.
Hey champ loved this vid , awesome looking area and loved the music , looks like you had a great time and the pair of you look so happy hope to see more of Demi getting involved in your trips , we'll done guys 👍❤
Hey Tyler another great video!Just a tip with the river crossings particularly the deeper ones it’s a good idea to leave your seatbelt off and window down just in case you have to bail out of the car! Cheers mate!
Great video Tyler. Lovely spot. Ive been there a few times and back there soon with my camper trailer. I rekon you could do a whole episode of yourself running up hills and across rivers to collect your camera :-)
Wow bro, intro was epic, the rest of your episode was insane. Been thru only a couple tracks in the great dividing range a decade ago, can’t wait to go back once the government allows us to travel
#thatwassick #anothercrackingvid Reminds me of a motovlogger, Accidental Broadcast, I used to watch and he'd always refer to having 'all the cinemas'. This episode was like a dramatic feature film but still with all the original awesome stuff and epic locations! #cheers
Great video! We just bought one of the decked out touring utes from Mid Coast 4wd in Port Macquarie with plans to do similar touring with the our kids Aria and Symphony (both at Nature School). We are complete newbs at 4x4ing so binge watching your content hehe.
terrific video showcasing some amazing country. You could add , "no animals were harmed in the making of this video". Tofu Laksa would not be seen very often out there
Great work mate, loved the video. I've been to Styx but never explored around Georges Junction. Any tips on finding that trail? or what mapping stuff do you use to find tracks like this not being a local to the area?
Thanks mate, that trail is very hard to find and the entrance to it is unmarked. The marked entrance on the map takes you through a farmers property and he doesn't take to kindly to visitors. I use Gaia GPS on my phone
Have a look at the Hard Korr orange/white light bar kit (but not the cheaper version) for the canopy.. comes with a dimmer and I recommend the on/off switch which can be purchased separately. I’ve been using them for a couple of years now and they work a treat.
Every time I see you guys 4x4 driving I want to go there and drive around that country the problem is I don't know how much it cost for a four-wheel drive over there and I got quite the fun set of trails around here one of them pretty sure we'll give gunshot and Knowles run for their money and it's one trail
So sitting here enjoying the video and my girlfriend just walked past the TV. She said to tell you that the salt makes the sides crispy and yours are too thick to be called pancakes, 🤣🤣 they are pikelets, sorry to disappointment you🙃 still love the video👍🤪.
Looks like a place that would be very busy during the warmer months. Has the NSW lockdown time effected any of your plans, or has it given you time to spend editing and maybe giving the Nav a bit of a tidy up?
