I think you made a mistake. You can be 25 or above and apply but not below 25 years. So people who are 25 and older can apply, but people who are younger than 25 cannot. Thanks for the video! God bless you..

I am a newly qualified UK mental health nurse, and I was shortlisted by the Tasmania mental health unit for a job interview that would aid my relocation to Australia. Thank you.

Hi there, I interviewed with Tasmanian mental health last year and got an offer but decided to go with Sydney government. Some of the questions they asked were scenario based questions such as how do you deal with a difficult patient, what are your techniques for deescalation, what is your background? How does your skills align with the job description. These are few that I can remember,just give real life example/ or scenarios that you can remember from maybe your previous job. Don’t forget just be your self. They were very nice. It’s a panel interview also. Good luck.

Thanks Abby, Yes the questions are usually scenario based questions, your day to day activities in a mental health setting. Also familiarize yourself with the hospital's aims/mission/vision goals and use them to answer your questions Goodluck💙

I think working as a mental health nurse is similar to previous experiences but I currently work in Forensic mental health which is definitely different due to its unique environment. I would say that the biggest shock is the work culture. It’s somewhat toxic but I am handling it very well. Good luck in your pursuit😊
