Thank you for watching me, a humble American, react to Australia vs United States (USA) - Who Would Win? Military Comparison. This was a fun video. Thanks for subscribing!
Australia is not built for direct military conflict as such. We do however have some of the very best deep recon units that are highly specialised in infiltration, sabotage and intel gathering. We are not going to beat you in a stand up fight, but we can put almost anything anywhere in the world before you even know its there.
In regards to a straight up fight, The Battle of Long Tan earned Australia's military a reputation not easily overlooked. 108 men held off and won against over 2000 Viet Cong troops during the Vietnam war. We didn't win Gallipoli in WW1, but our troops certainly did a solid job of holding the line for a long time against the worst possible odds. We may not have the advanced technology of the US military, nor the numbers, but our armed forces definitely aren't wimps, and in the right circumstances we certainly could win a stand up fight if it was a down in the mud soldier to soldier trading bullets type of battle.
U.S. needs to land here for their tanks to be of any use. During WWII Darwin we held off japanese with a small platoon and mostly civilians. In Iraq there was a US platoon were waiting for the bomb squad to dealnwith an IUD . Aussies pulled basically up said "we got this" and blew it by shooting at it. Women here are just as hard core as men, considering the high rate of menopause, i wish any country the best of luck. Women here DON'T take prisoners because we've got to feed the fkrs. We're built different to the rest of the world, men and women. So go for gold! By the way statistics show (2020/2021) Australian civillians spend more on ammo than the US civillians.
In the past we had some good success direct conflict we shocked the hell out of them at Beersheba but yes it was a lot more of the recon stuff in the jungle after and including World war 2
I’m from Australia and fun fact: my great great great grandfather was captured by German soldiers and he somehow don’t ask me how ESCAPED from the German prisons in WW1
My uncle was in navy in ww2. He was captured and interviewed by Gestapo, in Mediterranean area.He escaped too. He did explain how he got away, but I have a feeling it was the stupidity of the Germans. Aussies will stand up to anyone, hopefully…..🇦🇺
This video is very old and so the numbers for Australia have grown a lot, especially what we have on order like nuclear submarines and custom built unmanned aircraft (look up Wingman) It also fails to account for the many many allies Australia has and the harsh coastline and terrain that would make invading very difficult. Another fact not covered is the training, I've heard a lot of soldiers say that the Aussies are the best trained they've ever seen, some vets on RU-vid even claiming a single Aussie soldier is on par or better than a US Marine. "If I had to take hell, I would use the Australians to take it and the New Zealanders to hold it." -Erwin Rommel.
I did have a very long winded reply picking apart each of your points, however I’ve decided to just go with this. Australian Army permanent personnel 2019 -25,190 New York State sworn in officers -35,030 That being said, yes our small “professional” force often punches well above its weight when working as apart of an alliance or coalition.
To be precise Australia Has About 2000 Nuclear subs, I remember them being built in Adelaide as a boy. They are 3 stories high. Massive subs the Public doesn't know about. Australia is protected. We also Implemented Wifi and Quantum Technologies around the world. Australia is defended. If any of the scum Gov's try Attack Australia it will not end with just their chase away, They will be utterly destroyed. The time for games ends.
Hey man, congrats on the new baby! Your videos keep on popping up on my feed and I love your down to earth personality! You’d fit right in down under - hope you and your wife are enjoying this very special time!
Ahhhhhhhh!!! CONGRATULATIONS on your beautiful son, thank you so much for sharing him with us, I can’t believe how relaxed you are with him. Please send our love to your wife also on becoming a mum 💕 hugs 💕 I can’t even concentrate on this video, I’m so distracted lols x
Congratulations to you guys! I've been checking back since Monday to see how it all went, I don't care about whatever video you've got for today, I want to know more about your beautiful son! 💙 Need more info please, it's like you just got a new toaster!!! 😳 Best wishes to your little family from all your Australian friends 💙 xx
Interesting thing is the we are normally side by side in the battlefield and it's not uncommon for our special forces to be in an area doing their thing and softening up the enemy for the u.s. to waltz in easily once we've finished our part.
I love how he forgot to mention that we are apart of the Union Jack, this meaning that country’s like New Zealand, and the uk will fight with us. This is not talking about all the islands too, it’s just a major factor that wasn’t mentioned.
Can you please react to Australian defence force videos vs American ? You’ll see that Australians are always having a laugh, and this is what we call “mateship”
No, having a laugh or a joke especially during life threatening situations is called larrikinism. Mateship is something wholly different, it’s ripping in and getting the job done, regardless of the circumstances because you don’t want to let your mates down.
Congratulations on the birth of your son .. he’s gorgeous. There’s no comparison between the two countries, of course USA would reign supreme unless we unleashed all of our deadliest animals on you
Given that we'd be fighting for our own country (which always makes a defending army much more determined), any Australian soldier is worth about 8 Americans (this isn't actually that far from the truth - ask anyone who has been in combat how tough the Aussies are), and we could call on a battalion of emus at any given time I reckon it would be a pretty even contest (Aussies are some of the best fighting men and women on the planet and we stood no chance against the emus, it wasn't even close). And that's without taking into account the unmeasurable knowledge and experience our indigenous people have of the terrain and environment and how much of an advantage this would be. The Yanks would basically have to roll out the nukes, and even then I'm not sure nukes would have much effect on the emus - they are literally bulletproof (ask us how we know, lol). We may not be able to win in a straight fight, but we could make it so so inconvenient and impractical that the yanks would throw in the towel, just like they did in Afghanistan and Vietnam (ZING!!).
All we'd have to do is eliminate Pine Gap and the USA's military would be blinded to a very large portion of the planet, covering all of Australia, NZ, Asia including India, the middle east and most of Russia, so yeah, we don't really want to upset the USA because their military is mighty, but they don't want to upset us either, because it would be far too easy for us to turn off the lights and leave them completely in the dark against pretty much every nation on the planet that they spy on and/or have issues with.
There is no air defence in the world nor is there a non-american plane that is capable of intercepting the B2 stealth bombers so Australia would struggle to do anything. Additionally the few cutting edge systems they do have will be spread over that huge territory making them pretty useless for Americas stealth figthers.
Happy Arvo Jason ♡♡♡ Welcome to the World :) You'll be here in Australia with your mum and dad before you know it and you'll know all the Aussie lingo so you'll fit right in! Congratulations guys :) he's gorgeous!
@@Dr_KAP oh that's cute ♡ Thanks. The first time Ryan said his name I thought he said Jake and then I thought Jason. Appreciate you clearing that up for me :)
Congratulations on the new addition to your family. Jase will certainly grow up with loving and caring parents. He will gain so much on your outlook of life. Keep it up mate.
Congratulations to you and the missus mate, there is nothing better than the birth of your children, I have 3 , such an exciting time for you, enjoy these early days, because they grow up incredibly quick, one minute they're 3 days old, and before you know it they're teenagers giving cheek lol
Welcome Jase ❤️ and Happy Arvo to you too 😊 Congratulations Ryan, to both you, and especially your wife 💜 (since she did all the hard work 😉). Soooo Happy for you both!!!!!! I've only just discovered your channel a few days ago, and I'm hooked ... I've been binging your videos ever since 🙂 Keep 'em coming mate 👍
Congratulations to you both 😊 I didn't think you'd be back doing videos so soon. Jase (Jace?) of course, is blissfully unware of all the people wishing his family well from the other side of the globe!
Main thing with US vs AU is you guys gotta get all that gear to them first. Cause you know the Aussies are gonna be like stuff you guys, we're not meeting you half way. As Russia has just proven it's not about what you think you have but about how you use what you really have.
Your slogan "Happy Arvo" is genius. We don't say it, but we respect you when you say it. Also, aussies for a long time have had the mentality that the USA is our big brother when it comes to defence.
Congratulations to you both on the birth of your baby boy 🌟 The USA , Australia and the UK signed a 'security partnership' last year , called AUKUS.....
Australia V USA is a non event we hold too much stearic value to them ,pine gap , Parkes , if we turned off the southern hemisphere the satalite access there GPS , communications , would shut down
I doubt it! We're just not interested in global domination & wasting our taxes on unnecessary military spending. We really can't be taken even with what we have, cause of allies & remoteness & fighting spirit. Equipment & personnel numbers really don't tell the story
Congrats on Jace :) (hope I'm spelling that right). I mostly just clicked on the video to hear if there was news on him. Can't believe it's been 3 days already! Re who would win, they completely left out the emUs! Add them in & the result changes ;)
Congrats Ryan to you and your wife, your baby boy is absolutely precious, gorgeous and a miracle of life; all the best for an awesome and amazing future.
ANZUS treaty is a huge reason why we don't need to spend big on equipment. Loads of our budget goes into SF units for special operations. Our units are top tier technical operators rather than large scale warfare ready. Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan we sent many technical groups that capture high profile targets. Also in Iraq SASR were on the ground disabling Iraqs air dense systems two weeks before giving the US the green light for the bagdad bombing raid. First actual boots on the ground and same in Afghanistan.
Congratulations to you & your wife on the safe arrival of your baby boy, bet life gets a tad crazy for awhile. Best wishes from Adelaide; South Australia🇦🇺💐
A huge congratulations you you both on the birth of your little one. He is beautiful. I wish you all the best for your future. Much love from Australia 💖💖
Back in the day, during WW2 , when US servicemen came to town on RnR or deployment we would often meet them en mass at the local watering holes to discuss international ethics and diplomacy, social and sexual etiquette etc. Physical violence was always used as punctuation and when the punching subsided the drinking began and many friendships were born.
Congratulations Ryan and partner. Jace is absolutely gorgeous and so cute. He may even grow to be a good looker like his ol' man 😂. Us Aussies can only hope that when Jace grows up he says emu ( eeem-you ) not dads bad habit of eemoo 😳😅🤦♀️ he'll learn our Aussie lingo yet... 'WE HOPE' hahaha, we haven't given up 😁 Anyhow Ryan hope you feel better soon... you're a lovable character and we love your sense of humour. Your reactions put a smile on our faces with every clip. You never know "happy arvo" might even catch on here down under 🤭😂..... ❤ to your new beautiful family from all of your Aussie mates 🇦🇺🤗🦘🐨
When was this? I served in the Mog an am an Aussie. Was posted to the Int Cell and went out on the streets almost every day. I can tell you we were not followed. BTW, were you part of the Marine Counter Int group? They would have been the only to do that. I knew those guys until they got blown up outside the Old Port. What unit were you from ? The ISE ?
Congrats on the arrival of your beautiful baby boy, such a sweetie pie! Due America’s population of 330 million there’s no way Australia with only 25 million people can compete military. Yet from the Boer War in South Africa in 1899 helping the British through to Afghanistan in 2022 Aussies have always contributed with helping our Allies. I believe the US should spend less money on helping the military industrial complexes from getting richer and use some of the money instead on universal healthcare for its own citizens, as well as improving poverty outcomes for the most vulnerable people in America. The fact the US spends more money on their military than the next 10 countries combined speaks volumes.
Oh my goodness, what a handsome little man Jace is! Congratulations to you and your lovely (patient) wife, on the lovely new addition……you know I just watched to see if we’d meet your sweet little boy, don’t you? 😊🧸 CONGRATULATIONS 🎉👨🏻🍼(you have a moustache in my emoji, because there were no men holding a baby, with dark hair, that were moustache-less). Happy arvo. My team is playing in the AFL finals tomorrow, so please be cheering for Fremantle Dockers (we need to beat the Western Bulldogs). Hey, happy arvo! Now go cuddle that baby!
Thanks for introducing your beautiful baby, you currently have that too much indoors/not enough sleep cast to your face, hope you get some fresh air and sun soon! Australia loves you too, thanks mate! 👍😁💕
I wrote on your last vid. I knew your other half was being induced. He's absolutely gorgeous Ryan. So much hair for a new born. Hopefully we get to see Jase as he grows. CONGRATULATIONS 🎊🎈🎉💝
