why not both? XD In all seriousness, Genesis Fenrir/Revelation is the better of the two. Scharhrot is fun in that your two best strides are just guard restricts and can mind game your opponent based on what they have in hand, but Fenrir and Revelation is more powerful in that it can actually help you stack your deck with triggers, or filter through the unnecessary cards to reach the triggers. That, and Fenrir GR is the most expensive card in the set, so...take that what you will.

What's even funnier is that I even tested the deck with the new support along with the Tick Tock restrictions, as well as no Melem in the deck (because I, personally, think they need to prevent Melem from being used in any Chronojet build, i.e. no Metallica/Melem shenanigans), and the deck can still get off a lot of attacks, but only if the opponent lets the attacks hit in the first place, as you just replace Melem and Tick Tock with Upstream and the new Causality Dragon, which gives a unit 2k power and the skill to TL another rear guard if the attack hits. Combine that with Dran G able to call Jackal from deck when Upstream calls Causality, and the deck is basically still the same, but only if Jackal hits. If he doesn't, then the most attacks you can get off is 6, but if he does hit, then you can get upwards to 10 attacks (These are the attack numbers I've reached in my testing; 6-10 depending on what hits and doesn't hit). So, Upstream/Causality is basically an easy replacement to Melem/Tick Tock, but at the same time, it allows your opponent to easily shut down your chain of attacks by just guarding the Jackal swings, making the deck not as destructive as seen in the video, but the deck still has that same potential. I main Gear Chronicle, btw. Not saying I'm the be-all-end-all "clan master", but I've done my testing after the Tick Tock restrictions happened (plz bring them here to English, Bushi), and even making up my own restrictions on Melem (no Melem/Tick Tock in same deck, no Melem/Chronojet in same deck, Melem to 1, etc.), and so far, Upstream/Causality seems to be the best replacement to Melem/Tick Tock when it comes to Metallica turn 1 stride. And then after that, you just go into your double Gear Groovy turns and smack them for huge Ragnaclock/Nextage effects and a re-standing, big n beefy, Chronojet G XD

Hopefully Bushiroad is going to restrict tick tock worker tho I don't see it happening till after BWC

As a gn player who has played extensively against gc I can vouch that they didn't know anything about gn or gc, one example would be drain valve dragon that the gc player used to make history maker hit 11k rather than 9k, the reason the gn player dropped multiple rears was in hopes of being able to use bb's stride skill (seriously bushi, give bb altomile clause dammit) which was what the gc player caught on an brilliantly played around making sure not to leave any rears rather than focus on pushing damage kudos to him, not many players play bb so very few know how bb ticks.

gc player is actually best gn player in australia, so he would know more than anyone else how to play against gn.

That makes sense, a lot of the time the difference between mediocre players and good players is knowing what your opponent is trying to do and playing accordingly so I attributed it to the gc player being diligent but people usually would only study chatnoir decks when it comes to gn. Still it's always a bit sad when you know a player is so good with a rogue deck to top springfest but even the player can tell that it's far more likely to win if you go for a meta clan.... Rogue decks need more love dammit T-T.
