I love seeing an Australian state ranking made by actual Australians, QLD deserved that number 2 spot

1. NSW 2. QLD (too homeless) 3. VIC (too populated) 4. SA (too boring) 5. WA (too far) 6. TAS (too inbred) 7. NT (too hot) 8. ACT (too cold)

Tasmania is number 1 Reason: they have an animal called Tasmanian devil which is a pretty sick name for an animal ngl, jokes away this state is just perfect in my opinion because I prefer a calm place with mild temperatures and pristine air, in my opinion I think the rest of Australia is hot af compared to Tasmania, also it’s much cheaper than Sydney or Melbourne

My ranking: 9. External Islands (Norfolk and all that) 8. NT (a farmers wet dream but it’s too hot and it’s desserty and there’s high crime and no sports teams) 7. South Australia (bit boring but there is Cooper Pedy and Adelaide’s alright) 6. ACT (underrated by most Aussies but is carried by Questacon and Parliament house. Food is great as well though and the winter is actually worth while) 5. Tassie (great nature and air quality also great mountain biking but cold asf and all inbred) 4. WA (timezones are shit and a lot of desert. Nullarbor drive is boring af as well) 3. QLD (Gold Coast is an elite holiday spot and Far North is pretty good and there’s GBR, Palm cove and Daintree rainforest as well) 2. Victoria (Southbank is good, Great Ocean Road is sick but outskirts are a bit bland) 1.NSW (Sydney is the best City, you got the Eastern Suburbs which are sick and Rural areas are booming. Only downside is the Western Sydney hole) 3.

Vic (specifically melbourne) has the most bipolar weather i have ever experienced

As a west Australian I’m happy we aren’t second last (last is always ACT no surprise there ever) WA is great to live in but terrible to travel to lmao Also a pro of WA is our police are really laid back about car mods compared to the rest of the country Also being on the west having the sun set over the beach is just so good, best beaches in the world

I've lived in 5 states in Australia, including the NT. But I've travelled through every state and spent time in every state. The NT is my fav state. I swam every day. It's just an awesome state. Tassie is an amazing state as well. Queensland and WA, awesome. Vic is my least fav state for a dozen reasons, not the least being the bl00dy weather. ACT, Canberra, is a nice place, but I wouldn't live there. NSW, mmm, I'd live there, but not anywhere near Sydney.

This is a much better list than the original i do disagree with a lot of picks but its not as outrageous as the original if i had to rank them it would be 8.NT 7.TAS 6.ACT 5.SA 4.WA 3.VIC 2.NSW 1.QLD I know you put victoria at number 1 and i respect it i do see why you'd put Victoria there but here is my counter argument if you removed Melbourne Victoria would be pretty shit but if you remove brisbane QLD would still be one of the best states in Australia because the gold coast is great But great video mate have a good day

Wait, Vic beaches mediocre? I'm guessing you've never been to a beach outside Melb, have you? I've been to every state in Australia, travelled all over this country, and Vic has beaches to rival any in WA or QLD. Sure, Melbourne beaches are pretty shite, but Ocean Grove, Torquay, Bells Beach, Point Impossible. Etc. The list is endless. Vic might be my least fav state, but not because of shite beaches.

I'd not presume to come up with such a list. What makes one place someone's first preference may well make another rank it last. For example - many rave about the Queensland climate, but the heat that appeals to some (going to beaches etc) sees my ranking it much lower. Then there are great differences within each State make it pointless to rank in this manner.

My pro and cons for South Australia and Victoria South Australia Pros the o bahn and how things are pretty much close to each other Cons they nothing much to do here especially if you are hanging around it the suburbs or city once done something you done everything but going outside of the city to rural towns they something out there Victoria Pros Mildura I have been multiple times it just feels definitely over there Melbourne they just a lot to see there like acmi Melbourne Central and seven eleven since we don’t have them in SA Cons there just a lot people and hook turn are the dumbest things to exist

I agree Melbourne is best. Perth is too hot, too far away, too few people, too isolated, too many white snowy beaches, too many animals, too many bush fires, too many tribesmen, too many yacht clubs, too many wineries, too many families and too much nice chilled non touristy life style and holiday choices. Give me a graffiti plastered ally way and a good cup of coffee out of the rain any day. 😂

NT ok crocodiles not cool but the people are fair dinkum crazy but the good kind 5. TAS cold but cool 6. ACT ok I like the outskirts of ACT like lake George but Canberra is not great 7. SA I’m not convinced this place is real nobody that matters has ever set foot in SA 8. VIC nobody actually likes victoria and it’s too bloody cold
