I was trying to find tips about tax for aussie content creators because most sites ive found give vague info and are actually an accounting firm trying to get clients.😂 I know this vids a couple of years old but the info about what money to set aside and business deductions is exactly the kind of info i wanted and aussie specific!! Im not at the point where i make money yet but at least this gives me a better idea of the things i need to keep track of. Thanks!! I hope your business is still going well!!

For your etsy sales and fees, does it make any sense to you in terms of what's been taxed /fees by them because the CSV file doesn't match what the 2 totals on the summary. Was this too much to understand and you just sent the CSV to your account? Could you make a video on it if you know what I'm talking about?

i have a question ! i live in australia and i've been wanting to start a sticker/accessories business but i'm currently under the age of 18. i now just found out that i can start a business as a minor which is great news ! but i was wondering if we're required to register a business name or can it just be an optional thing ? also this video was so helpful thank you !!!
Hey! So you can register an Australian business number if you wanted to especially if you think you will grow into a legit business, and you don’t need to register a business name straight away but you will run the risk of someone else taking the name and registering themselves instead 💞 I was 15 when I started and just did this as a hobby sort of thing I didn’t expect it to grow this big, I didn’t register for my abn or business name until I was 17 (mostly because I didn’t realise abn was free and the name is actually really cheap!) thanks so much! I've only profited about $400 this financial year, should I really have to be doing all this financial stuff? Paying an accountant would take all my profits, or is that a deduction too?
Credit cards are actually really good as long as you use them like debit cards, meaning you pay in full every month. Why not have benefits and earn points for money you’re gonna spend anyway? ☺️
This is specifically to help small businesses.. obviously everyone pays tax. It’s very different doing your own tax than having a big company pay it for you and doing a tax return at the end of the financial year. Way more goes into it than working at a supermarket for example
