this brought a lot of old memories for me. I served my apprenticeship working on these locos in the 1950's.

I hope you still read the comments, Howie. This is magnificent! A friend posted a link to it today 28/03/23 and I'm so glad he did. I've seen plenty of videos from steam trains and of steam trains, but never of a steam train from another steam train. What a treat!

Howie, steamiest cancelled due to coronavirus! Can you suggest a view of a steam train near newy , we live north coast and were prepared to travel to steamfest ! Thanks

Unfortunately I thin all have closed, just last night I was advised that all forthcoming steam weekends at Thirlmere until further notice.
