Autel fix this asap - Nano plus tracking fail

This not a put of the company to began with , I really like the company, and have own many of their drones. I havent had any problems with customer , as many claim. I just want autel to fix this problem and repair my drone, because the gimbal is locked up, and the drone wont go forward unless i turn off o, a sensors. This my number one drone for night videos, and its also great for day time.

Wtf. Well that's a dangerous glitch if I've ever seen one. Glad you were ok after that, sheesh. Autel needs to cover this repair, you were flying autonomously

Yes sir it dangerous, even though it's little it could hit someone in the face, and those props can cut people. Thanks no it wasn't my fault.

Damn bro sorry that happened. The tracking on my Autel lite plus aint so great either. Drone nearly took my head off this one time and that was the last time I ever used the tracking

Thanks, yes if something like a lite plus hits u ,you would have felt some pain. Luckily for me it was small, but not so much for the drone as it landed on some big heavy rocks, and messed up the gimbal and optical avoidance in the front. I had to cut it off as the motors were still spinning on the ground and I arm was backwards .

Keith! You da man! I've been looking for a solution to be able for my drone to track me and my dog as we walk. (At least for short distances) It never would have occurred to me to just set the RC down and walk a little bit. Now, the part where it went into attack mode...I could do without that adventure.

Lol yes I don't know why it did that, I'm glad it wasn't a evo 2pro pro lol. I sent it to autel and they repaired it under warranty.

Autel's dynamic tracking algarithms are poor, in comparison to other mainstream manufacturers. It appears Autel Robotics is not prioritizing improvements to the Nano & Lite series firmware/software at the moment, so it may be a long wait.

Yes, I know lol, I just want my drone fixed, as u see it wasn't pilot error lol. That's why I screen record every flight of every drone I fly, just in case,something goes wrong I have proof.

Yes autel, isn't thinking about the nano or evo lite series right now, who knows if they will ever get another firmware update. That's one I can say dji says on top of.

Unfortunately dji firmware updates add features but tend to hide worse geofence updates or with the avata, a complete bs need to hook a phone to your face...

Whoa. That was not cool at all. It could’ve caused some serious harm if you were facing it and it decided to target your face. I hope that Autel Robotics sees this and either fixes this issue immediately or cancels this feature, or they are going to have some serious liabilities to deal with. I hope they fix it fast!!! surely isn't a pilot error if it hit you on tracking mode with OA on. As far as cust sercice. It's usually a hit or miss depending who you get. Best of luck and send that nano in so I can enjoy those great night shots.

@@keytiger7 I was just looking at website 51 drones and believe it or not it was about screen recording every flight just for that extra doubt DJI may have on a repair issue. So when I get my new RC controller. I'll make sure I have a SD card inside.

this is unacceptable. I gotta say though these can take a beating and still fly- but a drone with OA should NOT do that- a mini 2 with litchi could do better.

I agree it dangerous. I don't think that much effort to fix this problem. Back in yhe day I had a mavic pro the first get close to my head tracking, but it stopped read close and went backwards lol.

Lol maybe keep tracking to a short clip. I recently had it start an autonomous orbit, completed maybe 20 degrees around me then it veered straight left at high speed until it hit a pole. Controller was on the table in front of me. Like wtf 😳

@@keytiger7 yeah I replaced like 5 props but was fine because I had extras. I recalibrated everything and took it out the next day and it’s back to normal. I’m wondering if there’s a glitch with the obstacle avoidance sensors, maybe it pinged off the table, then it tried to re-route a wide arc around me and then went off course. I think autonomous flight options should be done in wide open spaces without any large objects within 10-15 yards or so. Also looking at your video the drone might have been confused by shadows at the end of your clip. They obviously have some programming to do on the next firmware update. I hope they see your video so we can all be safer.

Damn! DA, I warned you guys in my video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N1TKM313jKM.html of just a few months ago when it tried to give me TWO haircuts! Seeing it hit you sucked and made me angry that Autel slapped that sorry ass tracking on this drone and expected it to be good. I refuse to use this feature anymore! Autel needs to fix this! Lucky for you that it is only the sub-250-gram drone and not not full-size which could do serious damage, especially to your head and neck area! Glad I kept looking back when I saw the damn thing trying to go "Kimaka zee" on me! Thanks for sharing and warning others my friend!

Yes I saw that video and others, it almost got u . I'm glad it wasn't a lite plus or a evo 2. If one of those big guys would gave got me I'm the neck or head. I would have been bleeding. I put this out so they may fix this. , I also need my drone repaired as this is not pilot error. That's why record every drone video, even for 10 seconds.
