have you ever heard of an audi locking out the system? usually this lock out happens when some one tampers with can bus system! its called vehicle protection is on? i believe it shoots a DTC for it as well. do you know if this autel programmer can unlock or turn off " the protection on" on Audi vehicles? yes it has happen to a 2012 audi a6 turbo

Brother, is there a reference guide we can use to find the location for any modules like BCM module for these types of vehicles? Lacking the knowledge of where these modules are and safely handling them is one of the main reasons I don't touch these vehicles at the moment...

I was programming the key to Audi Q5 2014 and there was a prompt on Autel IM608 " Please de-energize the BCM ". I took out 3 plugs from the BCM but didn't work. Are there any specific plugs to be taken off or we can take all the wires off of the BCM. Any suggestion would be really helpful.
@@sanjaypoudel793 thank you for joining member.. your disconnecting the power to bcm.. if your having issue just unplug them all.. and press ok.. if you did it properly it will load up a then ask you to energize it back again to plug everything in..

OK so tell me. VAG stopped their servers to AUTEL. So 7th CS byte you cant get. Basically all VW cars im608 pro cant do anymore. Is this correct? Its what everyones saying over here in the UK.

This is new update for IM608? I tried A4 2014 BCM2 encrypted 1 month ago. It failed read IMMO at 5% couldn't even bench it, perhaps this BCM no encrypted?
Ok so question time. When you send a pub board to be repaired, how they find the fault. Do they have a diagnostic package they run and it finds the fault?
Oh ok the eis .. they have some sort of test platform to test it and you can also scan with autel programmer.. what year and model?? Is it hard to turn and sometimes? And do you have to play with it in order to work? 👨💻
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE play with it. That’s an understatement. Only way it allowed the ignition on once was when I got the im608 pro and told it to scan the EIS. Which point the radio came on and then ignition worked. Next day though after ten times it worked the EIS was non responsive. Weather was cold and the firm say that’s one of the bug bears so to speak of the system. It does not like the cold. Anyway then 3 hours. Autel scan again trying to kick it into action again but nothing. Then 2 days later even central locking dead.

Hello greetings friend! You have to go to the trunk and unplugged the unit from the rear trunk its located on the right theres a door open and unplug power to unit!

Hi, mo here from south Africa, I want to invest in autel im608 or the im508. Could I start with the Im 508 and xp400.. would I be restricted with the Im 508 in terms of key programming in comparison to the 608. Also I read that the im 608 does diagnostics, would I really use this feature in key programming.. Do you use the diagnostic alot in the im 608 Await your reply.. Thanking you
All im going to say the easy way out isn't always the best option the diagnostic tool you need to program some vehicles.. its a definite essential! You can start with the 508 and xp400 but you will be limited to the vehicles it can do with the xp400 pro and maxiflash vci!
so why dont you show how and where is you are unplugging the bcm, are you talking bout the comfort control module or vcm?? speak to me in german language? makes more sense, thanx

Hey Mikey, I have problem programming 2008 Audi A4 with chip 48. I did order key fob from HUS hardware when I received was a chip 8E key fob tried to programming it with MI 608 but xp400 autel cannot read it in processing programming. Can you tell what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE no flip key I will give you part number tomorrow. On the recipient it say chip 48 but when I read it on vddi max xhorse it's say E8 chip. Is E8 chip will work on vehicle has chip 48? I know you have a lot of experience and this vehicle driving me crazy.
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE I called UHS hardware they told me that chip 8E will work on Audi A4 2008 guy by name Joel but the key of that car it has Chip 48. Here's part number 8E0-837-220-R.

Es Año como 2013,2014 el systema es IMMO5 BCM2 .. y la llave fue ordenada (codificada de el dealer). El servidor para estos vehiculos esta bajo y no se puede lear los datos para sacar la contrasena (pin) para programmar la llave
