Dhooska or Dhuska is a popular deep-fried snack eaten all over Jharkhand and Bihar, India. The dish is one of the delicacies of Jharkhandi cuisine. The main ingredients in this savoury fried bread dish are powdered rice, powdered chana dal. The bread is then deep fried. It is often served with any sauce or chutney or with aloo chana sabji.

Ingredients for Dhuska (for 15 no’s )
White Rice / Arwa Chawal - 1 cup
Chana Dal - 1/2 cup
Urad Dal - 1/4 cup
Ginger - 1 inch
Garlic cloves - 6-7
Green Chilli - 6-7
Haldi Powder - 1/2 tsp
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 3-4 tbsp
Salt according to taste
Oil for deep fry
For Green Chatney -
Raw mango - 1 medium size
Coriander leaves - 1 hand ful
Mint leaves - 1 hand full
Garlic cloves - 8-10
Green Chilli- 8-10
Red Chilli - 2
Jeera - 1 tsp
Chat masala - 1 tsp
Salt according to taste
Mustard oil - 1 tsp
