Phills, dean of the college; Keith Moore, animal science major; Allen Smith, agribusiness major; Andrew Randall, plant and soil science major; and Dr. James Allen, director of the Center for Small Farm Research.

Mr James Baldwin was/is a literary genuis .. He was a standup man,, took no prisoners.. Loved him always. I thank my late father for introducing him into my life at the age of 16.

Baldwin never put his sexuality above being a black man. He didn't hitch the LGBTQ struggle to the struggles of black life. Clearly, he placed one above the other in terms of personal importance. I respect that!

That doesn’t give straight Black people the right to diminish the struggle of LGBTQ Black people. You don’t have to deal with what they do.

@@BLTKellys Absolutely correct. I certainly didn't mean to imply otherwise. However, I'm definitely against any group that tries hitch their star to the wagon of upward black mobility.

@@lpurnell4827 why would you make up a straw man argument to divide two groups who are completely intertwined? No one said the black experience wasn't as bad as the gay one; we need to work together and focus on solidarity, not childish prejudice surrounding abstract american masculinity. Obviously slavery was worse but why focus on division between people with a common objective and common foes?
