Вот какого демона нужно валить молодые деревца ради обычного наипростейшего способа. Чтоб показать свою силу и нож? Тогда попробуй на сухостое это сделать умник и не загибая древесину!!!
it is thecnique. you choose soft green tree, bend it to create a tension in the fibres and cut with sharp carbon blade knife whith thin blade- thick aprox 3,5 mm not more. easey
Very impressive, appears to slice through like its made of butter, but you'll notice he puts a lot of preassure on the tree away from where he is cutting, and after watching the cut a few times it looks to me like he only actually push cut through 1/3 of the tree, and the backwards pressure kind of splits it back allowing him to slice the rest of it fairly easy. i think you could do this nearly as easily with any thin, sharp hunting knife
put the complete video back up I seen it about 9 or 10 months back and it is a great vid speaks highly of JOHNS WORK HE IS A GOOD TOOL SMITH AND BLADE SMITH ..
I Got this knive since 5 Years now ..it´s SOO Beautiful , but i had to buy a REALLY Good Sharpening System to get the Scandi grind right , i WONT tread this expensive knive any wrong .
Hola.
Nice knife, "only" $420. Unfortunately it's D2, I would rather have carbon steel. You can probably do the same if you sharpen a thin-beveled scandi ground blade well.
there is nothing wrong with D2, it has a undeserved Bad Reputation because its pretty Hard to get the heat treatment right, but I dont think you would have to worry about that with autine knifes.

This knife looks very sharp but I don’t think this is the right way to advertize it with cutting a young tree. Better to have shown it on a dry branch. Remember that trees are essential to create oxygen, to maintain moderate temperatures throughout the year, to be homes to many species, to block erosion and floods, to keep high reserve of CO2 within them. In fact, as trees are only seen in our planet they are more valuable than gold, diamonds, money, and so on. Respect the nature!
Well people plant there own tress on there own land they can do as they wish with them and in nature they can use them as they wish if needed maybe go say something about the big industrial places destroying thousands of miles of woodland not some outdoor person doing little bushcraft. I wouldn't buy anything Autine makes if they paid me. I know how they started and the designs they stole when they left John Neeman. Also, the shoddy workmanship exhibited on an Axe that Wrangler Star reviewed.
