Freddy Garcia I was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at a very young age and this isn’t a big deal to me anymore but it was a year ago when I first heard about this. There are bigger problems in the world to worry about right now like the coronavirus, Not this because it’s old news now.
Eat healthy, rest, do not work hard, get easy jobs, do not get married, take big vication, do not live alone, stay away from the police because they do kill autism people, do this you should live 60 years maybe more
This is the worst news I have ever heard in my life. I am a teenager with autism. I used to think that autism was a gift that I was given. But now I see it as a punishment. 😔🥺
I am a mother to two autistic children. One is 5 the other is 14 after hearing this I am going to make it my mission to make sure that my kids have lots of fun and do many enjoyable things in life.
I'm currently Age 36 and have been diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome since a teenager in school. I was shocked to find out the average lifespan of Autistic people ranged between 36 to 54. Personally, I feel I have strong potential to live above and beyond the age of 80. My only potential future concern would be about getting long-term employment in my 50's, 60's and 70's. However I feel more companies would embrace neurodiversity in the workplace at a later stage due to increased awareness and understanding of autism and aspergers syndrome.
Scaremongering. There is a whole spectrum to concider. i am 59 and my autism has got easier to live with over the years. Not everyone with autism has seizures and a lot of suicides are down to neglect from support services. If you dont have epilepsy and have a support network that is not just there in name, there is little to no reason why you cant live as long as other people. There would be less chance of experimenting with coping mechanisms like alcohol and drugs if better support were available. The death rates have shot up in the last couple of years or so from all causes, because people were told you must queue up and get protected.
I'll be 60, nearly died at 54 as they suggest but I've quit all medications and use Marijuana,.. I'm living well and beyond what is expected, I have a heart stent, but refused medications. 4yrs ago. I'm starting creatine, CoQ10 and PQQ, which will take years to help enough new cell growth to matter. But I feel better doing it. If you take medicines it's likely your new cell growth has more mitochondrial damage than if you're not poisoned. I smoke shatter, it's the concentrate with no pollutants or particles of crap in my lungs, THC is a broncho dilator. Anectdotal evidence isn't anecdotal when everyone does it; know any pot heads with cancer? nope me either. use it for Autism too.
Thanks for the heads up, you depressing Neuro typical beeps😁 Il be back to comment once I double the life expectancy, can't believe you get away with posting this crap all it will do is increase a onset of depression for some of us Aspies and life will end up being even shorter no need for it!
