I wonder what he's thinking about as he does this. I remember doing similar things as a kid and I would be thinking about intricate fantasy worlds and making up stories about what was happening in them. I found playing with other kids boring compared to engaging in repetitive behaviour and getting lost in my own world. I've got high functioning autism and was very much like Frumpkin as a kid. Now as an adult, I work with kids with autism and special needs. Thank you for sharing these videos. You've got quite a lovely little man :)
+Alana Jack Thank you so much, Alan. And it is awesome to hear you work with kids with autism. Ironically, I was in my head a lot as well even though I didn't have autism. I remember hearing a few stories of people wondering if something was wrong with me. lol. I remember day dreaming and acting out fights with ninjas & dragons. I use to also talk to myself a lot when people weren't around. lol. So, it is probably more typical than I originally thought when seeing Frumpkin do this. Thank you again for the kind words. Have a great week.
Thanks for the Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Trentvorty Kids Science Theorem (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a great one of a kind product for becoming an excellent parent minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cooworker after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.
I think in his case is more like an animal and not a human. He's not thinking... Not much brain activity at all.... Dad seems to have brain activity but it's also appears to be useless activity.
My son does similar stuff like this. He hums and can get fixated on things but he's easy to direct to something else unless its a fan. He has all the signs of autism when it comes to repetitive behavior, but he's very social and above average when it comes to language and communication. Drs diagnosed him with an unspecified neurodevelopmental disorder, basically, they don't know what is goin on. They said is should go away over time.
Hello! Son was diagnosed late, at 9 y.o bc his symptoms werent so obvious. My daughter is very social but do reapit the same actions for several minutes or hours. They both were selfdirective, delay in speech. My boy could not swallow. My daughter will be 3 in 2 months.
Thank you for sharing. I imagine your son not being able to swallow would be hard. Is that still a problem? I’m not sure how a child overcomes something like that.
Was not if this comment went through - sorry if it did. Hi Jason- how is ABA therapy going? Do you like it? Is it still 40 hours a week? We will be starting ours next week- Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's 10:00-1:00. Also- why do they stay at your house and write notes. They told me they would be doing that. I think I kind of will want them gone when they are done so I can get on with my day. Is there a reason they do that and why they don't do the notes in their car or office?
reminds me of my boy all the other kids are playing on the playground and I couldnt get my son off the tables today at the park lol also my son too is obsessed with the stairs at the park or picking up rocks and sticks
+Ashlyn Richardsons My son use to have a thing with rocks where he want to pick them up & throw them behind him. & he is also obsessed with stairs. We took him to the zoo last week. No interest in the animals, but was going crazy for their stairs. lol It is funny to see the odd similarities between kids.
Jason Love yeah my son loves doing that too with rocks.. thats cool knowing our boys are alike. I try to just accept his oddness I want to get a proper diagnosis done of autism I think he has it. my son never plays with any toys like a typical toddler would. I love your videos documenting your life it must get tiresome sometimes but itll be so cool to have to look back on. so many memories :)
As an older Autistic I realize memory is our greatest quality. I can remember vividly my very very early childhood which hardly ever included others. My older brother is absent almost entirely from any memory, most strange. You have a lovely normal autistic boy Jason, without comorbidities lucky you ~~ Good luck Frumpkin! P.S. Do NOT vaccinate him please.
You're joking right. Good parents? The kid is acting an animal. A normal parent would have quickly told that child to stop acting so foolish. Running around on tables that ppl eat on. The kid gets HURTS and the dad still encourages. This is a parenting fail and a prime reason why autism is showing up more. You have these liberal dipshits reproducing.... That kid should have had his rear end worn out the second he stepped on that table.
Studies show it all develops after birth with the most significant influence being the parents it caretakers. NOBODY that has an autistic kid wants to acknowledge this... It's like the elephant in the room... It's "taboo" to even suggest such a thing. I've notice parents are usually a little off or quirky. Usually very liberal, do not believe in discipline. Basically just shitty parents. This kid could have been raised by different parents and been completely fine. And before you ridicule me about this read up on it.... Take this video for example the kid is running around on tables that people eat on and the dad is encouraging it. My dad would have beat my ass the first time I even hinted at doing such a thing. The kid even gets injured and the dad still allows it. Lack of ass whoopings plays a role in it....
@@kdgraham18 I see what you mean. Yeah, I've known kids before, and some adults, who seem average on the outside, but terrible people skills. I have read autistics act like ppl who have PTSD like they have trouble with eye contact is b/c they were traumatized. They also have to be taught to be assertive b/c they don't know they have the right to stand up for themselves.
