Government should look into this matter with seriousness. 1. Transport department should not impose late fine. 2. Transport department should not issue commercial permit to outsiders.
After hearing this interview I understand that auto drivers are more literate reasonable and honest particularly the locals Let all of us support them As for me I always go to our local shop for shopping
A new auto will cost around 2lakhs which many naga families couldn't afford so , we go for 2nd hand autos which will cost 40 to 50k without proper papers. The problem is , the amount for making all documents N.b -for reference , A rough calculation of 5years Insurance- 3500 (700x5) Pollution- 100 (6months) Fitness- the yearly amount + 36500 (rs.20/day as fine) Plus other taxes Total payable amount will be around 45-50k Which is almost or more than the cost of the vehicle Which is near to impossible for an ordinary daily earner So , the concern authorities should take a thorough research from the grassroot level.
We all are very negative about auto drivers but sometimes we should really try to understand them and their grievances .. It's a truth that we mostly opt for non locals not because they charge less or comfortable bargaining but just because we can dominate their fair charges or even go away without paying them or simply slap them..
Im a local auto driver for 10years .. i faced most our local depent non local drivers.. we try our best to help or serves you as we can; that our duties. As we get back our daily wages.. But the problem is our some local aunties an our little Korean doesn't understand us.. Most important things, when i started auto services i did runs from checking till today .. i hope not only me most drivers are....
Just a few days ago, a Bihari auto driver took out a big stick and tried to beat a Sema dude. These people are getting braver. Look at what happened in Karbi Anglong with these migrants
THANK YOU NLTV for ur coverage and also for covering the grevences of the auto divers, and also with humble request plez try to cover in some places N some locations too. THANK U.
13:09 I don’t agree that locals charge less money than non-locals, maybe they do in their area, but the majority of locals charge more money, there’s a reason why we locals choose non-locals & our local drivers know the answer as well. I’m not saying that all local drivers do that but I guess it’s safe to say that the majority does that. They should understand that and be reasonable so that in the future they can pull in the passengers, What they’re doing now is only closing their doors in the coming days. Whereas I agree with them regarding the display card. And also to the NLTV video editor with the blurring of the faces, RIP 😆
Video editor should do something better while blurring identity of a person. It looks so bad for some viewers 😅😄 The one side story of Auto drivers is a 💯 fact about implementing the card . Hope the Auto Union check the system again for the alternative way of Auto drivers in Dimapur.
@TalismanTopG- 💯 % agreed with you. I have not met any local auto drivers charges lesser than non local drivers till today 😂😂😂. Sometimes they charge 30_50% extra😢
I personally prefer locals whether it is auto, shopping, restaurant, grosseries etc however there's some problems with their attitude not all of them. Remember that your negative attitude affects the opinion of the customers and even whole society. Whereas outsiders are very clever and patient.
This shows how negligent they are. They didnt even went to office to know what really is the procedure and the charges and talking bullcrap. Also if you are plying the auto in the road, pay your TAX
The main reason we prefer non locals is not because of over charged by our naga auto drivers but we nagas like bargaining everywhere including me we should change and support locals
From now onwards authorities should not issues deriving licences n also permission to non locals give chances to local we impressed from your view dear local driver n also ur suggestion Thank q NL T v for updating the news 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If you’re facing a difficult time to renew now? Why didn’t you guys renewed it according to the date of validity? And why buy without checking everything properly?
From where these non locals get prc and unemployed certificate, prc is supposed issued by local gbs and the unemployment certificate is issued by the department concerns.
Before buying first we must go through the documents properly, it's not government faults telling to renew the documents and asking for late fine and government should also consider and see what is better for future.
Dude I understand your plight. But, if what you’re saying is like no license to non-locals, then what about our brothers and sisters working outside Nagaland in private sectors around the country? Do we ask them to come back as well? That is not the solution. We need some reforms for sure, but not discrimination outright like that towards a fellow Indian citizen unless they are IBIs.
Here in Nagaland there is no motor vehicle act . No implementation otherwise regardless of our economy law is same for everyone. Renewal or insurance and display card will be mandatory. Imagine how other states are running their business under the law . One day we must abide by all Motor vehicle act and traffic rules soon.
Cancel all the licences of those not following the eules and compliance. Law should be equal to all. Update licence or inpose fines and take action. Its not about nagas or others law is law and we all should abide it.
Have some shame atleast, how can someone buy vehicles without proper documents?unless it is a stolen vehicles, they know very well about it,it is their own negligence and carelessness and nothing else ,such excuses should not be entertained, strict actions should be initiated, the Authority should not bow down to such lies.
Main bhi ek auto driver hun... Assam... Lumding kaa.... Hum log auto thik kare... Yaa paper thik kare... Yaa family chAlaye.... Please understand yaar...
I have tried many a times thinking that Naga manu ase ekjun ekjun ki help kuribo koi kena ami jai hoile bi rate tho paparepa ase tey. Even though I know the rate I use to ask kiman ase, hoile bi pise koi tho.... Specifically night drivers khan.
We understand the problem of the auto driver. However, I just wander how and why they are using the vehicle without a valid documents for so many years. I am confused whom to blame.
This auto problem is ILP 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 Dimapur is district of Nagaland as per indian Constitution and article 371 A protects and give rights to such implementation of ILP in dimapur. Our naga citizens are so lazy to think about serious cases like such ILP, if we don't ask to government strongly then even rulers will just ignore it and at the end it's loss of nagaland only.
At around 5 am from private bus station to midland, 3 of our Naga auto drivers ask me for 150 rs so without bargaining I approach to one bihari auto driver and he charge me 80 rs but I gave him 60 rs.. So after reaching my place, I happily gave him 60 rs and the auto driver too he took it happily... The End😅
Yesterday at supermarket,I was asking one of our Naga brother to go till flyover railgate he was charging me 70(he wasn't gonna listen to what I was saying about the rate), so went to a Miya driver who charged me 50 i.e townrate..so how can we promote local when your selfish and unreasonable??
Cards hobo lage. Regarding fare the man might be right in one sense, but not every naga auto rickshaw drivers charges more than non local.. Why do he argued on this .. Shameless bargaining. 🙏
I think the display card issue was taken up by the police department after due consultation with the Auto drivers n union based on MVA act. I may be wrong.
Honestly.... S per m experience... Locals ask much more than non-locals... And ya... Auto drivers from real gates don't know how to talk... They are very harsh n about negotiations..lol no chance.... S a student, v don't have money s we are dependent on our partners... They should show some understanding towards students
