Auto Load PS4 Jailbreak with ESP32-S2 on a 9.00 PS4 

I just want you to know that your video became the gateway to the world of micro-controllers for me. When I succeeded with flashing this strange "ESP S2" thing and it actually worked, I just had to find out *how* and *why* it worked. One thing led to another and today I'm developing my own weather station/logger with a wifi server and an LCD display with an ESP32 as a central unit for the whole system. Thank you dude. update, yes I know I am late to the game, but just got a 2 pack of the ESP32-S2, setone up for PS4 other for PS5, these work great, PS4 took 7 seconds on the forst go, every time after down to 5 seconds. not tried PS5 yet as my FW is 5.00 Great work again Mate

Yeah you got a point. ESP32-S2 is another option if you cannot get the Rasberry Pi.

Hey, I keep getting "Failed to trigger exploit. Kernel heap might be corrupted" I flashed the bin file to my esp32-s2 correctly as instructed.

Thanks to the Raspberry Pi Zero video I was able to complete my setup with Auto Load from Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W.

For those with the "white PS4 key" model, I took the "900L" bin file - aka "ESP32S2_Auto_Emulates_USB_900L_Goldhen_2.2.2.bin". When you connect on PC, there is a single little button on top, that's the one you must hold down when inserting it. In NodeMCU, I let all the default values. Works wonder. Thanks!

yeah this is much much cheaper, its actually as affordable that as if your buying a cheapest available flashdrive in the market (that came from the known manufacturers like kingston, sandisk etc..). Ive seen one in my place which cost around 8USD shipped, its a NodeMCU ESP-12K (which is based on ESP32-S2 SoC).

use the App Fing on your smartphone to find the IP Address. it will scan your network for devices

You could also use a microcontroller with an ATMega32u4 chip in it to emulate keypresses. Something like an Arduino Pro Micro. That would do the same as the "auto jailbreak" that the Pi does. Although then you need 2 devices plugged in, where the Pi can do both jobs in one device.

this is great, i love all my Raspberry pi's but they can be absolute unreliable piece's of shit at times and eat SD cards at random. this is such a simple way to auto JB i just ordered one thanks for the video.

Does the ESP32-S2 need to be connected to the PS4 USB port to communicate and perform the usb exploit? Or is it just for for power? I have a 2tb external USB with ps4 content constantly connected to the console and don't want to have to unplug it every time I perform the jailbreak. Is this possible? Thanks for the tutorials. I wanted to ask if it's possible to Decrypt and Encrypt a PS4 Save with a JB-PS4 on 9.00, I have some game saves which I want to Edit using Hex-Editor since I kinda don't like PS4 Reaper (mostly due the endless loading time when scanning) and Save Wizard has turned off Advanced Mode for those certain games.

anyone had an issue where you flash the bin you get the esp s2 connected to your network you can load the exploit and admin page on the esp from other computers on your network but the ps4 refuses to load the page..... via its hostname or its ip

When I access the Karo webpage on my PS4 it says "Jailbreaking... Wait" instead of the "Loading ExfatHax" message you get. And then I keep getting the memory error. What could be the issue?

One thing I am confused by is Karo has added so many more versions (one called speed) to his mega site since. Also a some labeled 900C, 900CM and 900L. Anyone understands what the differences are?

I would recommend using the ESP8266 over this wifi chip. The ESP32-S2 has extremely poor wifi connectivity. I literally had mine on top of my PS4 at times and it wouldn't show up on my network. The ESP32-S2 I have has worked a total of 2 times out of a dozen or so times I've attempted to jailbreak my console. I tried all of the methods listed in this video. Do yourself a favor and use the ESP8266!

Hey MW, In the "online setup" method, is there a way to get the host via user guide instead of browser ? I'm asking this cuz in my Browser, no matter what host i use, it takes more than 10 mins to load the exploit whilst on the user guide, it loads immediately.
