This tool is for quick simple material creation when you load textures into 3dsMax, with some cool material function.
This script was originally named Auto Wood, and it was written for Vietnamese architects and designer to work with wood fiberboard materials when concept in 3dsMax. It is used to quickly create simple wood materials manufacturer’s textures, and automatically UV them by the length of the board.
It was later renamed to Auto Material because it works find with other materials as well. All the script’s UV function will still be developed for simple fiberboard objects - it can’t handle complex Unwrap, so take note of that.
