The black donut shaped part is the weight which should be hanging halfway down the tank and serves as a pivot point for the float switch.
Another solution for pump vacuum issue, is to use a self-priming (centrifugal, mono-block) pump. Shahzad pumps has a great selection. This pump will run even when/if there is air in the input hose. However, running dry for a long time is not good and can damage the pump. Although it has overheat protection. Dear Mr Engineer, Always avoid infringing into line voltage directly from any controller. Use passive control. Use an impulse relay in parallel with the start button of the motor and a modular Single Pole contactor in series with the stop push button, you have to size the Single POLE contactor according to the current consumption of the motor. Use voltage velow 12 volt for sensor. Sense the level in 12 volt and trasnfer the signal to the processor, and let he processor drive the switch to the load passively with contactor or relay . in this way there is always separation between high volt and low volt. DIY main load driving is hazardous. An an enginner the responsibity is huge for safety.

If you really did, please try to do it on commercial basis to save water. Majority of our people are ignorant and some are careless who waste water as they don't understand how precious water is?

I used no return valve before jet pump. Which stores water in pipe and the it start with water in pipe and suck water from main Wasa pipe. Normal float automatic switch for on and off
Dear you can use 2 flot control one for upper tank and 2nd for ground tank, with one relay and you can also extend the control circuit as you wish, please let me know price of this controller, so i can evaluate, which Syatem is better to install
I was looking for such system but no electrician could find solution. Only float valve is helpful in saving water if you forget to switch off motor. But in case of keep motor on auto mode could be risky as water could finish from underground water tank. Your new syatem will be helpful but I am not sure if its available in Pakistan?

This float thing needs big hole on top of tank to drop it in the tank. Which will create problem especially after installation the big hole will remain and can cause dengue problem.
Top per hole kerne ki zuroorat nahi hai..main istemal ker raha hoon..aap leads ko upper tank ka over filling drain pipe jo side main hota ha use se guzar sakte hain..drain pipe main ek lakri dalen aor float valve us lakri se latka sakte hain sor adjust ker sakte hain..I am using it with no problm..the leads will also put throug that drain pipe..and tight the leads with wooden stick..thanks
