Auto switching mini UPS DIY, DIY ups for router 7 hours backup.
Please use 12.6v 2A Power pack or charger. Because 12V is not working.
Components used in this project :-
1. LM6009 Boost Converter
2. 3S BMS 20A or 10A
3. 2A Diode
4. 680 Ohm 1/2w
0:00 - 18650 Battery assemble.
1:13 - 3S BMS assemble.
8:04 - Using LM6009 Boost Converter.
13:35 - Testing.

Si el BMS toca la carcasa de la batería habrá una buena explosión. Es recomendable adherir un aislante. Mejor es prevenir que lamentar.

I've used a tp-link m5350 coupled with a smart plug. It keeps the mobile hotspot from overcharging the battery by scheduling when it needs to charge. Online 24/7, it ran for a year.

Where's the ats Or simply relay? This is more towards a power bank 😂 It can be called Ats if you divide two power supply lines directly to the device and one path passes through the 12v BMS before it reaches the device Excited about the next content 🎉

you never did research on how a ups works? it's on by default and it doesn't have to switch between the inverter and the mains

The diode you use at the output cuts 0.7 volts, the 12 level you set decreases to 11.3, so you should set it to 12.7 so that you have a 12 volt output. Greetings, colleague.

The National phone company here in Greece sells a UPS for the router for 25 euro. Cheap enough you don’t need to build anything.

Very nice video. I tried but 1st thing always less voltage out there not 12 v when connected to 20 amp bms. And xl6009 never out proper 12. Volt after setting potentiometer. Pls guide

When it's on the battery power, voltage decrease but boost converter keeps the output voltage at the set voltage (12V)

I think output diode is not necessary, because it will drop output voltage. Or, we must readjust boost converter so final output voltage (after diode) is 12V.

@@homemade_101 I made same type UPS for my router, i use router own 12V power source, it charges cells to 4V what is totaly fine when 4,2V is max for cells. used 21700 5Ah cells 3s2p.

Routers usually have dc-dc step down controller inside. It could take 12.6volts too. Or even 9 volts.

it is a west of money. it is not stable i tried it, I you have inverter as a backup or big supply as backup and while switching electricity your router goes off then use this. it is not for long backup.
