From the reviews I’ve seen, it looks like Tsm did a better job as far as the intricate details. The Autoart model has a better paint finish, and the luggage compartment opens. I went with the Autoart. I found a rare dealer edition on EBay for a decent price.

@@vltruane The general consensus is that taking the best elements from both the AUTOart and TSM model will a create the perfect 1/18 scale F1 LM, like literally Amalgam 1/8 quality in this size. I have a TSM F1 GTR which has the same details as the TSM LM and I've compared them to my AUTOart and there's strengths and weakness from both brands but nothing can take away the fact that these two are some of the very best diecast models ever made !

Just pulled the trigger on one of these after seeing that the lcd models casting isn’t quite up to the level of auto arts. Mine unfortunately is missing the certificate but the model itself is perfect. So kind of bittersweet here.

The model is so rare now it’s hard to find one in totally mint condition with all the AUTOart accessories but as long as the model is in new condition and it was at a good price then you have to get it never know when another one will come up but congrats for going for it 👍

Lm is not a GTR, there’s the road cars and the Race cars known as GT short tail and GTR long tails, then there’s the LM that you have which is a roadcar tribute to the GTR Le Mans race cars but are road car chassis. Only the LM’s came built in papaya orange as a homage to Murray’s racing past.

Are you on r/diecast by chance ? I recognize the thumbnail. I absolutely love mine as well and plan to give it even more detail inspired by my TSM F1 GTR in the future and fix some minor factory issues and some paint rash found recently.

Could I ask a quick question? How would you compare the overall quality of this AUTOart model to the TSM 1:18 scale version?

I think considering the price of the TSM model It’s quite good value overall it’s a detailed model but AUTOart does take it to another level the details on this is amazing and would highly recommend it - obviously this comes with a higher price tag which I feel is worth it but the TSM is still a good model and is good value depends on how much your looking to spend👍👍

Although, I agree it is indeed much more expensive than the TSM model which is already a very good model and worthy option. Thanks again for helping me decide on which one to go for.

Hello Harry mate how you doing hope your well and keeping safe. Now my understanding is that like you said the F1 is still the fastest NA V12 ever made but I do know that Mclaren entered the 1996 Le Mans race and won out right beating even the LMP1 cars at the time and if my memories are right the F1 LM did it again in 1997 race as well. I think the Mclaren F1 LM is still seen as one of the original hypercars a lot of love and respect for the F1. Anyway fantastic video mate enjoyed seeing this F1 LM model car.
