I don't have the courage to disassemble my $270 autoart McLaren f1 lm like that especially now that its going for over $600

seeing it disassembled makes me not even want to spend over 300 for one. the prices are kinda getting out of hand but since they're not being produced anymore it makes sense why.

those areas where they skimped out on the details are such a bummer BUT, the model presents so well that it seems easy to forget unless you're always playing around with it. Wish they didnt cost an arm and a leg now but i'm curious to see what improvements you'll make to it!

I agree with you overall it's well done and with interesting details but loaded with a lot of plastic, i think it's a fantastic piece but making improvements it will be a super piece. thanks for your comment
