AUTOART WHEEL REMOVAL FAIL - EXPLAINED 

Wow autoart makes the wheels really non removeble without detroying it. What a nightmare for modding. Great Video! :)

I stumbled onto a European website, that had every imaginable BBS wheel set in 1:18 for sale. I feel like I found it through you, but it’s been so long I can’t remember. Do you have a site you would recommend for ordering 1:18 aftermarket wheels?

Some people are able to remove autoart wheels, it´s difficult but in can be done, basically you have to use hot water, wd40 or something like that, a flat screw driver and rotate the wheel.

This is a great video, thanks for making it. It's very educational and basically says that if you want to cleanly mod the wheels on an Autoart model, you're pretty much SOOL! lol! This is such a boneheaded design by AA. This design is probably the reason why a lot of their models have wobbly wheels. They can make some of the most intricate opening mechanisms with struts and all the bells and whistles you can think of but they can't attach wheels that don't wobble. Most people say, "oh but they're models and they're supposed to be static", but when you think about it, you also have manufacturers in the same space AA is in as well as some lower end ones that don't seem to have this problem with their wheels. With Minichamps, Norev and even Welly models, I can be confident that I don't have to worry about this. With AA, it's always a crapshoot. It is really disappointing because their earlier, cheaper models from the early 2000s did not have wobbly wheels issues.

I have the ta22 auto art celica. I was able to pull the wheels off whe spindle with a small flat head screw driver. No damage. Work slow put the flat head screw driver between the metal spindle and brake disc/brake drum and wiggle the screw driver till the wheel slowly slides off

Hello man. I have and Lancer Autoart 1:18 optional kit and one of the tires cracked. I have a spare to change but im kind of scare to force the tire into the wheel and break it. do you have any tips about how to change the tire?

I’d love to know how to simply tighten rear wheels to stop the wobbling!!

You better off getting a budget model car because the wheels are easier to remove than an autoart cuz you can damage it and they cost a lot of money not unless if you get a good deal on eBay or something

Basically replacing an autoart wheels is 20x harder than a real car 💁🏻‍♂️
