Hey Lazy Arquitecto, the video provided so much detail that I didn't even think about before, thanks for that. What to ask if there is a way to separate a hatch by using a polyline, instead of trimming it and adding a different hatch type back in?
Jada there there is not such a command yet. But I'll definitely create something for it in the future, thanks for the idea and turn your bell 🔔 on so you don't miss it!
Hi! Your tutorial was amazing. I have a question. Is it possible to print in PDF solid transparent hatches as vectors? Sometimes when I have an elevation I put some transparent sold hatches and when I am about to print it I use the ''plot transparency'' command but the problem is when I click ctrl+P to print it from dwg to pdf, it takes A very long time to print, and even if the quality is only 100 DPI, the PDF file is always heavy (LIKE 20 MB) is there any solution to this?
hi Shazz, what I would do is check if you have a CTB or plot-style that is corrupted. OPTION command and set profile to default (the original that came with Autocad) this will change paths and if when you press CTRL+P is faster, then corrupted ctb is the problem
Hello, the problem I am experiencing with hatch is that when i create the hatch, i get the 'create hatch' ribbon but when click on the hatch, it doesn't show the 'edit hatch' ribbon. Another problem i am experiencing is that when I hatch something, the hatch and the hatch boundary become one entity so i cant delete just the hatch or delete just the boundary. I could not find a related tutorial or solutions

Hi , Just wanted to ask how does the draw order command works on blocks? I mean, I am trying to put the hatch behind a rectangle with text just like the one you did on tip number 5, but it is not working. Thank you! hope to receive your reply!
Hi Lazy Arquitecto, I would like to know how to set again the default settings if I am not going to use HPLAYER command. I want to use the current layer everytime I hatch. I hope you get my question. Cheers bro.
@@LazyArquitecto I had been searching earlier today for a way to set the amount of decimal places in an Autocad table. Your hatch video showed up in suggestions later and I just watched out of curiosity (now subbed).
Hey Luis, is it possible to fill a poly line (for example) filling 2x10 joists that cross over a girder with background color so in plan view it hides the beam the joists rest on. I’m thinking maybe there a variable for filling closed poly’s solid with background color. Thanks, Doug
@@LazyArquitecto I could but won’t that increase the file size plus possible bog down printing? When I use Chief Architect there is a default to be able to set solid fill with background or to leave as an open box so to speak (see through) I. E. Like using Drawing Order but with a filled box.
@@LazyArquitecto Sorry, yes you did, my bad. I was referring to the HPGAPTOL variable in particular. However, I suppose this question could apply to any variable. By changing a variable mid stream into a drawing, does it affect the way entities already drawn appear/behave etc.. For instance, during a REGEN, will changing from 0 to 1 in any variable, will a like item already within drawing and it's variable when drawn was set to 0, will it change that item or all like items to 1 when we do a REGEN or when reopening the drawing. Typically I don't change variables once I've started a drawing, or I change them as I go BUT prior to drawing something it will affect / not already drawn. Or does it affect only those entities drawn after changing variable. Jeeeezzzz, that was a mouth full. Hope it's clear what I'm asking.
OMG thank you so much💖 I have seen a lot of video to clarify my doubt but didn't get one, but thanks to you my doubts are well cleared... but i have one doubt left 😣 while applying hatch in the floors [example NET] it always extends my hatch inside the walls as well can you suggest me what i can do to avoid this problem ...

Another Question, in the top left corner where it has the custom views, {TOP}, 2D, WIREFRAME etc., mine is not showing unless I park the cross hair over it. With the cross hair over it it appears...It used to show all the time. Is there a variable I may have inadvertently changed? I checked in Options >3D Modeling tab> Display Tools in Viewport "it is checked". (AutoCAD 2022). Thanks for any suggestions.
@@LazyArquitecto well we’ll, would you believe it was the color of the text. Options, Display, colors, Interface element, viewport control, changed to to white from black ( black, which is the background.color) wow, I would and didn’t even think or that. I figured that would change automatically to opposite of BG color. Anyway, also worked by changing just to default profile, went to my profile and changed the color and all is good.
@@douglasmichel6361 glad you could fix your problem Douglas. sometimes when you don't know what variable the problem is, changing the profile will fix most of the issues
Every time I hatch the hatch appears in a layer not active. What is the purpose of the program continually doing this? When I hatch, I want to hatch in the current layer. That's why the layer is current!
