I have been driving an Autocar yard truck for a few years and I have a few suggestions to make this truck more user friendly. First off the truck is way to loud and it seems the truck stays in the high rpm range without shifting up more quickly. Also the fifth wheel release is to far away as you have to lean down and to the right to push and release, this needs to be brought up more for the driver. I feel everything the driver needs to touch should be an arms length away and that release need to be closer to the driver, like more of a wrap around dash. Another issue is the steps are awkward to go up and down like there isn’t enough angle and they are to straight up and down. My last small issue is that when you have the heat on that the blower motor on low is actually to high and I wish you had a lower blower setting. Overall it’s a good truck, I just feel these small things can make it better and more user friendly.
