I'll never forget this...I'm the the girl on stage with the drum stick who's dressed like she thought she was going to a Stryper show...and that hair! We were all up front and they played a bunch of Metallica etc while we waited so that's why you see clips of head banging...hilarious but it was fun...a bunch of videos back then were all filmed at the Long Beach Arena...good times indeed!!
Oh boy.. you girls from the 80's were so sexy with that fashion thing going on in that time for the girls. That hairspray was something unique. Sadly, I was born in late 80's, so anyone of those girls can be my mom.. haha!! At least I want the hairspray thing to come back for the "millenial girls" to use.. Good of you to share those unique moments. Seems that you have a lot of fun, and most important of all, lived the rocking 80's.
I listened to Autograph back in highschool along with Van Halen, Ratt, and Motley crue. Reminds me of the football games in the fall and my old girlfriend. Miss the days
Keni Richards (RIP 2017). 80s-90s Hair Metal was great in big arenas. No fuckin smart phones....just fans having a great time and lotz-o-pretty girls with high hair who looked like Kelly Bundy.
@mantis914 from what i read, van halen needed an opening band and autograph was asked to open& agreed. however, in much later interviews, guitarist for autograph claimed that touring with van halen was hell. he also claimed that evh did not allowed him to play his guitar solo moment while on tour with van halen.
A real shame. They lost that big chance with That's The Stuff just because the record company wanted another record quickly and it ended being a bit dissapointing album just because of the hurry material. When they returned with a great album like Loud and Clear it was too late for them.
I wouldn't call Loud And Clear great, but... yeah. They needed more time. At least, to wait until the producer of their debut album had time to work with them again, of all possible reasons. They needed him on board. But, as fate would have it, they had to wing it on the 2nd one...
Underrated band with a catchy live act. Awesome and fresh songs to be played during the summer with a cute girl next to you. Got all the records. Still playing their music in my car. Love'em 🎸🇮🇹
@ AxelNight13 - If I'm not mistaken, this band got their big break from one of the band members knowing David Lee Roth. Imagine your big break opening for Van Halen back in 1984... talk about Big!!!
That does it. Steve Plunkett is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. Rick Savage is going to have to take a backseat, and Plunk can take the backseat with me...heh heh...
@71stormrider You're completely right... I hated this band, I hated that song. Then I saw the video of Blonde In Black Cars... I completely changed my mind.
I remember cn em n @ SixFlags(theme park) AstroWorld n Houston TX bac n '85!! King Kobra opened up 4 em,2!! They roxed! Still luv sexy Randy Rand(bassplayer)!! He'z my FB bubby,2!!! :oD Atograph still rox "Loud and Clear" n 2011!!! Happy roxn 2011,ppl!!! :oD
autograph belongs to the elite of american metal with WINGER/FIREHOUSE, they had the songs, the players and the guitarist that kills : steve lynch. we will never forget them and will listen to their songs until we die ! take no f**kin' prisoners ! steven isham rip
how many people know autograph? How many people know Nirvana¿? I live in Argentina south america and here in my country Pearl jam plays in football field. I wonder how many people would pay for a Cinderella concert hahahahha
as for evh tapping style, evh did admitted he copied that style from blues guitarist of the 20's and 30's. only difference is that evh played it faster.
Yeah, but it’s not the Autograph I remember. They have no keyboard player, and the keys were a staple sound of the band. That, and there’s only one original member left, so it’s really not Autograph.
