REMASTERED IN HD!! Official Music Video for Somebody Save Me performed by Cinderella. (C) 1986 The Island Def Jam Music Group #Cinderella #SomebodySaveMe #Remastered
RIP Jeff . 🙏
Funny story, Back in 86 Bon Jovi took Cinderella on tour with them as their backup band to get them started anyways they played their whole Night Songs album, trust me they put Bon Jovi to shame!!!! Ahhhhh what a time to be young, I was a teenager throughout the 80's , I feel that People who grew up in this era were so lucky, 54 now where does the time go.......
Went to that show like 4 times..Cinderella and Bon Jovi. Slippery When Wet tour. That’s when I became a huge Cinderella fan. However Bon Jovi did rock it each night as well. One of the best duo’s I’ve seen.
The eighties! Cinerella, RATT, Motley Crue, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot. The eighties Heavy Metal Ozzy Osbourne, Ronnie James Dio, Judas Priest, Accept, and more! It was great to have been there!
We'll never get them back bro'... I listened to all of those, plus... remember S.O.D.?, Loudness?, Dokken, Scorpions, Y&T, Steeler, Yngwie, .... I could go on forever... I miss those days.
When I was 14 I found Jeff on myspace, of course my 14 year old self bombarded him with questions about his guitars. To my surprise he responded and wrote back and forth with me for a few days about gear. Told me a story on how his mom got him that red Kramer for doing good in school. I will always remember how cool this guy was. As if I was talking to a fellow guitar buddy, but it was Jeff LaBar from CInderella !!!! R.I.P Brother
With Cinderella, you always got the sense that they were better music composers than the other 80s rock bands. They had some brilliant songs that still stand the test of time.
Да, группа очень талантливая, очень уважаю, гитары красиво звучат, голос Тома потрясающий, я считаю сильная группа, успехов здоровья, жаль если распалась
Likewise 7similar Artists that are cool Poison,L,A Guns,Ratt,Skid Row,Britny Fox, Motley Crue and Winger.Seen Motley Crue with Motorhead brilliant best one two punch at a Concert got Poison and Britny Fox their greatest hits
This was it for me! When I heard Cinderella for the first time I knew I finally found a blues/rock band for life! Thank you guys for decades of great music!!!!
Tom Keifer is one of the most genuine guy I ever met. He is so humble and grateful for his place in music and his fans. Awesome band. And a great front man who wasn't a jerk.
My dad passed away yesterday and now I'm making a playlist with all the songs he loved and I remember him by. This is one of them. Thank you dad for showing me the greatest artists of all times. Loved, missed and never forgotten 🤘🔥❤
@@bigbadchad6940 One reason the Bullet Boys went down in flames was the singer got drunk and called the head of their label and got snarky with him saying, you don't promote us enough ! So he said fine, I won't promote you at all . His drunken phone call ruined it for the other guys in the band. I still have the Smooth Up In Ya album though, lol.
It wasn't very simple for some of us with the drugs, and booze always on our mind. Chicks too! Had a lot of fun though! Sometimes I really miss my old friends, and partying! Chicks TOO! LOL
Do what you can to make it simple and amazing. Personally I still listen to and collect 80s metal / rock albums and cassettes, 80s rock mags, comics, watch 80s movies, etc. Also minimise time on shitty "modern" things like Facebook, reality TV, etc. It will definitely help you to feel young again 😊
Was Cinderella hard rock-metal blues band is History now specially after Jeff LeBar death but Frontman singer songwriter producer Tom Keiker still making good music with his second wife Savannah Snow-Keifer who also is songwriter singer musician and Tom only son mother their band is The #Keiferband the band have a second critics acclaimed album "Rise" 2020 -2023 currently on tour
I love all the positive comments about the 80's. Was 16 when this came out, 47 now. I recently fully realized & thanked the good Lord that I was a teenager throughout the entire 80's. Best times in music ever!!
This was almost the best of the mid 80's early 90's rock bands. Guns n Roses released 2 good albums, Cinderella 5!!!!!!! Every single song was awesome. Keifer was a beast of a singer. So sad they stopped too early. This song just shows you how much passion and talent these guys had
I think I was at that same concert. Had to have been McNichols Arena. I went to every rock concert at McNichols Arena back in the 80s. Lived in Colorado Springs and we would drive up to Denver for the weekend and stay with whatever new friend(s) we met over the months and years prior. I was 21 in 1986, and my girlfriends and I all wanted to marry rock stars. My life was similar to the movie Rock Star w Mark Wahlberg 😆 No regrets!!
That would require being able to sing play instruments, compose right etc. Like yrs of hard training, music theory Too lazy now just tap a key ontheir computer...all bogus
The girls run right past Cinderella.. just to embrace Bon Jovi. Funny they could make fun of themselves! The 80's & all that METAL. So, so, so sad it's gone now. We need a renaissance, it was so fun. First concert I attended was DL in 87' supporting Hysteria. Will NEVER FORGET that concert.
People who grew up in the 60s say that about their music. People how grew up in the 70s say that about their music. And people today will say it about their music. It's not that it is better or not, it's that it represents the time that you and they grew up in.
+Kastalya Music Bruh, do you even logic? If you weren't born in the 80's, there's no fucking way in Heaven, Earth or Hell that those were your best years.
Totally agree,...this album and The Cult’s Sonic Temple got me started into a metal phase that was quite long. (Used to wait for this video & several others way back when on Headbangers Ball - when MTV still played VIDEOS! 😂).
chuck russell You sir,...are the official hero o’ the day. I think you can transfer stuff to DVD now too! But there’s something nostalgic about throwing in a VHS tape that’s awesome!
TJ Moosemanzata I agree but I still have all my Cassette tapes too . I Met Tom Kiefer at a small venue in about 3 years ago he was so cool down to earth and just stood around and talked to us like he was one of us
Cinderella takes me back to my youth. Still one of my top 10 favorite bands. I remember as a kid always sneaking my uncles Walkman and playing the hell out of his Cinderella tapes. From about 7 years old to 42 and I still love it!
Rest In Peace Jeff LaBar you will never be forgotten you’ll always live through Cinderella’s music and your legacy will be forever remembered throughout the centuries. Thank you for being a part of my childhood and sharing your talent throughout the world ❤️🙏🏼
your addays: wow, another one that didn't understand this life as human...some say that we are old souls reencarnating many times to learn different experiences and that you select your family and who you are going to have them with. That we volunteer to come to this earth for different reasons, and like the Journalist kerri Cassidy said after making thousands of interviews, the big secret is who we really are...
One of my favorites from Cinderella 💓 I love how they corroborated Bon Jovi at the end... Jon actually helped Cinderella with getting signed to their label.. 💪🏼💙 2 great bands!! My Love to Tom Kieffer whom I've had a crush on since 1986..I was 12yrs old ❤️ STILL IN LOVE today 2022!
Cinderella was the real deal back then, and as a live act, were virtually untouchable. I took some of my idiot-grunge friends to see them in the late 90's, even (begrudgingly on their parts), and their jaws were on the floor the entire show watching them perform. I never heard them say a bad word about Cinderella after that one 😃
Shows why grunge only lasted about 5 years, yet glam metal lasted more than 15. What's more surprising is glam is coming back, yet grunge isn't. Just goes to prove glam>grunge.
@@ALLMETAL1970 there were only a handful of glam bands that were genuinely good and had a distinct sound. 75% of the other bands were just clones of Ratt and Warrant playing generic pop rock for the chicks and the fashion, thousands of them. glam had a higher peak but there are many more solid bands as a whole in grunge than glam. in conclusion, most glam is pretty gay.
Hell yeahhhhhhh who wouldn't be listening in June 2024!!!! Cinderella great songs, great musicians, great sounding instruments, to inspire fans, and influence fans, and musicians to really enjoy the best music world wide!!
I still have ALL my long hair and my leather jacket with tassels and that's the way I want to be buried!!! So proud to grow up in this decade!! Long live 80s hair metal!!
You couldn't ask for a better way to be put Six Feet Under. Not like I wanted to happen now. But great taste. The 80s were that total shit. Had more fun than any teenage girl should be allowed to have especially going backstage to several concerts. Had an absolute fucking blast. Keep rocking babe
Poking fun at themselves by having Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora "upstaging" them in their own MV... says a lot about their humility and humour these guys have. Love Cinderella! ❤
First time I heard this song, was sitting at red light and a guy in Trans Am had this song blasting. Light turned green and he went out of sight, sideways in a cloud of smoke. Just another normal day in the 80's.
WOW..... the memories!!! Classic 80's , this tune still holds it's own, and always will. Tom's voice is an instrument all by itself, & these guys are not "just another 80's 'glam band'. Humility, is shown when you can make fun at yourself, & these guys had a confidence, ON STAGE, that 96% of those "other 80's bands", simply did not! I met Tom at an Eat n Park in Brookline, PA, & he picked up the tab for everyone there that night. He was paying it forward, before that ''saying' was ever uttered! Good dudes, regular 'Joe's' who made their fans feel like they had known them for ever. Cinderella RAWKS!
+Jim Loeffert that first line i have no expression that i can convey of how epic and different it is sets the tone for the whole song they were amazing
I agree, and the way they handled EVERYTHING, "OFF" stage, smacked of "we are real, just like you, come sit here and tell me what you think of this 'riff' ". Just a great band, with a loyal , LOYAL fan-base,that would have had their year or so as a "Super- Group", had it not all ended much too soon. Tom "Commanded your' respect the 1st minute he met cha", then he'd spend as long as it took, "EARNING IT"! Nikki Sixx wanted to fight everyone in sight, because he had an ear-ache........ (Old Civic Arena - Pittsburgh, PA), Tom stands up and says, " If we do this, it's you & me 1st, because I'll be damned if all these effing people, who paid there hard earned $$$ to be here, are gonna go home thinking 'I'M an asshole, because Nikki effing Sixx had an earache!" Nikki was coming forward, bottle of clear liquor in hand, stumbling over his long overcoat, and got to within 20 feet of Tom, when some BIG MEN, with biker style Crue jackets on, MADE SURE, he did not get any closer. There was a heated exchange, and Tom kept telling him to go to his room, over & over, until Nikki drained the liquor over a smallish gals head, & left shouting obscenities, holding his ear like a bitch! "Effing rock stars...... I efing hate rock stars"! were the last words I heard Tom say. He listened to people talk about the whole thing, winked at some of us, signed a few mags, posters, and a few breasts, and mumbled the whole time. He was cool, but classy, EVERY TIME I ever made it back stage. Gimmick he was not, a real artist, with real tunes from real life. I truly miss those days!
I have still loved it since I was 16 though I am 53 now. Strange enough, my third kid who's 16 also loves Cinderella though I never told him anything about Cinderella.
Cool fact!!! They were from the same town Joan Jett was born in Lansdowne Pa. Jeff Labar was Lansdowne Aldan. Tom Was Springfield Pa. Eric was from Newtown Square. I’m not sure exactly where Fred was from
Was more of a Maiden/Thrash fan back in the day, but this song hits harder now than it did back then...I'm living what he's singing about now! The Bon Jovi thing at the end cracks me up, and sums up late 80's rock!
What yungin’ who grew up in the 80’s didn’t play Cinderella’s cassettes till the tape snapped? (Yep, that’s what we had. Digital music?!?) Too bad the guys have reached the age where they’re gonna start dying off. 😔
'When I was a young boy they said you're only getting older, but how was I to know then that they would crying on my shoulder'.. If I had to pick just ONE line of a song that summons up all anxiety of growing life - THIS would be it!!!! LOVE Cinderella and Tom Keifer!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Tom Keifer has one of the most unique voices in Rock. I've been to a few of his solo shows and he's still sounding great and never disappoints. I wish the band would get back together though. That would be very cool if they did. 😊🤘🤘
